Located next to Winchester Cathedral and close to High street, the hotel is quiet and comfortable.

I stay here Regularly for work, and can honestly say, I've got ZERO complaints. Rooms are immaculate, as for the staff Michelle and Tammii are incredible, always on hand to help and always smiling, regardless of there day. I only use this hotel and if staying for pleasure I would highly recommend

Premier Inn Newbury (339) was clean, tidy and friendly. The staff really looked after me during my solo stay there for 5 days. The bed was super comfy, it was good quiet nights sleeping. The breakfast is amazing - they could do with gluten free toast but everything was cooked really well and there was a lot of it! I would recommend this hotel, really good value - I think I paid £200 for 5 nights which is excellent value.

A large family group of 10 of us chose to stay the night at this hotel for our daughters 1st birthday. The quality of service, room cleanliness and comfort experienced here was nothing short of absolutely excellent. Staff went well out of their way to meet the needs of us all, especially at dinner when they were a person down and we ordered every cocktail going. The restaurant food was fabulous and we particularly liked the massive travel cot provided for our little one, who slept very well. A truly brilliant stay.

Amazing stay,always come here. Tucked out of the way,probably the best Premier inn weve stayed in. Staff couldn’t be more helpful, Tammie & Jane looked after us at Breakfast. Didn’t use the restaurant this time,for dinner but we have done previously. Comfortable & clean rooms, with free parking. Will see you guys again soon. Thank you

We use this Premier inn to visit family after we moved from Newbury to the North East We wanted to do an early check in and was told it was now £15 which I was not prepared to pay when my confirmation EMail said it was still £10. After a phone call to PI they honoured to £10. Returning to the reception the lady (Paula) could not apologise enough that it was a lack of communication handed down from management, she didn’t charge us the £10 and gave us complementary breakfast for our stay. The way Paula dealt with with the problem was very professional and a credit to premier inn. This could have made our decision to return in future a very different story, but we will be returning due to the way Paula handled the miss understanding

Working in hospitality myself, I am more than aware of the challenges hotel staff are faced with daily. Really lovely staff. Breakfast was amazing dinner was excellent. Rooms are nice and spacious, very clean. I can’t wait to book again. Got to know some of the staff they are really helpful at finding things around to do (days out) really nice location

Stayed here numerous times, usually a five star, this time only 4 as there was supply problem leading to a shortage of toilet paper. That said, would stay again when in the area. Nearby supermarket and shops a bonus. Buses into Newbury nearby or a 25 minute walk.
