Absolutely amazing staff especially the supervise jayne and her colleague Diane they are friendly and easy to talk to and all the staff make you feel welcome and made it easy to settle in. It was a pleasure meeting the staff and getting to know them can't fault them at all

I can’t thank the staff here enough. I arrived late ish, having had an utterly terrible day, stressed and tired. I was welcomed, reassured and had all my questions answered in such a friendly and helpful way that the stress just left me. The chap helped me carry my suitcase up the stairs and showed me to a nice quiet, pristine room at the back of the building away from the car park, just what I needed! One hot shower and undisturbed, comfortable sleep later I was ready to leave and spoke to a lovely lady on my way out who asked about my experience. I genuinely felt valued and would absolutely return.

Very good value, warm genuine welcome, plenty of parking, clean warm and comfortable. Couldn’t ask for more for the money. Will stay here again. Good amenities for a stopover, easy access from major routes. Stayed for one night en route to family in Cornwall. Good experience.

Very friendly staff Handy having McDonalds near by to eat. Within a service station, but the noise was very limited. Had a good nights sleep. Handy when visiting Highclere Castle

Ideal for visiting races - close to drive to Newbury and get a taxi to centre or races- quiet hotel and clean and staff very friendly - helped us book taxi and explained places to go to in Newbury

Me and my wife stayed here a few weeks back en route to Southampton port. We paid less than £40 so weren’t expecting much, but the chap on reception was so friendly and helped us find somewhere to eat locally. The room was upstairs and just had woodland out of the window and for a services site it was really quiet. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again for our next cruise.

I stayed here a year ago roughly and vowed never again. I was booked in the other day as part of a business event so gritted my teeth and walked in. All I can say is what a fantastic transformation. This hotel now has a modern looking interior, it’s clean, the staff are very friendly and happy to help with anything. A year ago I felt as welcome as an infection but now would gladly return. My room was fresh and most importantly, warm. The heater was set on low when I got there which was a thoughtful touch. The receptionist told me of a local pub round the corner which was a great recommendation, parking is free and plentiful, and I had a peaceful nights sleep. A gentleman asked me about my stay as I left and even thanked me for staying there. Very impressed.
