Its very commercialized hotel. Though its decent enough its kinda pricy for the size of the room. Still there’s room for improvement.

Hotel situado "cerca" de Times Square, pero su gran hándicap en cuanto a situación es que tiene la boca de metro más cercana a unos 500 metros y por las noches al volver se nota. Siendo un hotel de estilo futurista se le ve un poco viejo, ni siquiera funcionaba su famoso robot-consigna. El servicio... no hay mucho que esperar de un hotel en el que te haces tú mismo el check-in pero por lo menos si tienes la consigna estropeada tendrás que proponer una alternativa. Esto es lo malo, pero sin duda también tiene cosas buenas: unas vistas estupendas, la cama es comodísima, buena TV, plancha en la habitación, etc... que lo hacen un buen hotel calidad-precio.

The room is good but the space is kinda small. Location is perfect. The only complain is they didn't gave us back the deposit of $65 which was they told us it will be automatically get refunded after we checked out. But I realized after a month we checked the bill and it didn't showed any refund from them.

False photos on the trip.com website.
I am very disappointed with this hotel (YOTEL NEW YORK) and with Trip.com, the site on which I made my reservation yesterday (07/17/2021).
The photos displayed on the trip.com website at the time of booking is not the room assigned once there.
Indeed, I made a reservation thinking that the room for which I was charged nearly $250 would have a great view, at the corner of the building.
Once there, the room was dingy, dirty and the receptionist was not able to assign me the room I rented for.
Unfortunately, since there was no refund possible, I was forced to stay and have a weird weekend for my wedding anniversary.
While I called before my departure to the hotel to make sure everything was okay about the room. And nothing was done. False photos.
So, My wife and I are very disappointed because the photos do not reflect the truth

I regret booking this hotel, i spent New Year there but i regret booking the hotel, the room is small, no toothbrush, no slippers and i woke up to shower around 11 am no hot water, this is surprising in New York City and i spent almost $700 / night, what makes me angry the most was i booked the hotel on Trip.com i paid but when i arrived the ask me about $43 for tax i told them no problem i will pay but they are telling me they don’t collect cash and i don’t have card with me, the security advised me to buy a gift card and pay with which i confirm with them and they told me no problem, i went to CVS pharmacy opposite the hotel and bought a $50 card i came back to pay they told me to wait for and hour before i can use it and they cannot checked me in i was so angry and tired, after an hour i went to them but they told me they cannot use American Express they can only use VISA gift back i have to go and buy another card, so my stay was not good at all have a nice day.
