The hotel is very close to Wall Street, and you can walk to the Wall Street Copper Bull and the World Trade Center Plaza Memorial. The port where you can go out to sea to see the Statue of Liberty is just across the hotel. It is very close to the subway station. There are also complete supermarkets around, making shopping convenient.

The surrounding environment is good. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The room is hygienic and clean. The service is also good. The breakfast is very rich. The fitness facilities are very complete. The room is quite quiet. The overall experience is good

Recently back from a 4 night stay here. The positives first, reasonable distance to attractions, comfy bed, clean enough, nice staff, good elevators. The staff kindly acknowledged my birthday with wine and treats, thank you. The negatives, we arrived at 2pm, check in was supposed to be 3pm, didn't get checked in until after 4pm, a bit disappointing to spend 2 hours hanging around the reception. This is a sketchy area, there is an issue with drug use here, you will encounter junkies every time you walk along the street to the hotel, they hang out on the corner on sofas and chairs. In the room itself my main complaint was the noise of the aircon, it sounded like a jumbo jet was landing on the bed, the bathroom fan was on 24/7 with no off switch which was an added layer of noise. We had to freeze the room while we were awake as we had to switch off the aircon to get any sleep but then the room overheated. It made for 4 sweaty, sleepless nights unfortunately. Hotel said they would send someone up to check out the aircon but we never heard anything. As the hotel was full there was zero chance of us being moved so we just resigned ourselves to the noise. As diamond member, did not receive upgrade but was allowed $10 pp to spend at the hotel. As the restaurant was closed and there was no bar, all that was left was the overpriced shop. $4 for yoghurt, $4 for kind bar, that was about it for the allowance. This is my 5th visit to NY in 8 years and my least favourite hotel stay yet, unfortunately I would not return.

So, I know New York is expensive. I get it, but I wasn't prepared for my experience in this well know brand of hotel. On check in I experienced the first 2 red flags. Firstly, I was asked when I wanted house keeping. After paying just over $400 per night I couldn't believe the question. I was then informed there was no restaurant and pastries and coffee are in the lobby to take. Perfect, no ability to get a decent breakfast. I was given 3 tiny bottles of water to take up with me, if you want more during your stay you need to pay for it. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfy, but the decor in the hallway and rooms were drab, dated and run down in desperate need of renovation. I tried to use the iron in the room and it started smoking. Thankfully I didn't set off the smoke alarm. The shower had to be run for ages to get hot water. Not great if you're rushing out on the morning. When house keeping did come the room was left clean, but they didnt replenish the milk so i had no milk for coffee in my room. Very annoying. The only good thing about the hotel was the reception staff . They were very pleasant and helpful. They responded quickly to any of my queries which was great. The bed was also comfy. So that's it, a cheap and basic experience for a ridiculous price.

Sitting at JKF waiting to fly home... Great hotel, great staff and superb location. The shower over bath could be updated but there is gym facilities, free WiFi, a good little shop on site and a breakfast cafe too. The subway entrance is at the door and Macys and the Empire State Building is 2 minutes walk. Times Square is also only 5 minutes walk. We also walked to the 9/11 museum which tool 55 mins However the hotel booked our taxi to airport and to say that was a mistake is an understatement!!

This hotel is in a great location in Manhattan - close to Penn station and a host of subway stations. So much of Manhattan is within walking distance from this hotel! The staff was always friendly and helpful, even though the hotel was clearly very busy. Our room was actually surprisingly spacious for Manhattan standards. Yes, this is not the Plaza, but I found our room to be larger than many Manhattan hotels I have stayed at in the past. Our bed was very comfortable, the A/C worked well, and our room was very quiet. The bathroom was nice and again, large enough to not have to do acrobatics when using the toilet. The shower was large as well and we had great water pressure. The room was overall in very good condition and looked nice. The staff was always friendly, professional and helpful and never seemed rushed or stressed out, even though this hotel was obviously very busy and there were always people in the lobby. I can only recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a clean and quiet room in Manhattan.

Let’s start with the location is AMAZING!!!! The front desk staff was so polite and welcoming. But that is where the excitement ends for me. The “lobby” if that’s what you can call it, is closet sized and cramped. If there is already a family seated in the “sitting” area, there’s no room for anyone else. My 2 girls (14 y/o) and I stood at the entrance to the restaurant there. Well, the hostess there had an attitude bigger than New York itself, just because we were standing there. Where exactly are we supposed to stand ma’am?!?! No one was eating there and they had just closed to prepare for the lunch shift. So, what’s the problem??? Thank God for change because younger me would have met her negative energy and raised the ante. But since obtaining a felony while visiting New York was not on my agenda, I told her she would be making a good decision if she moved away from me and find something else to do. Another staff member came over and told us as well as another waiting couple that it was ok that we wait there since they were closed. The room was not a Hilton standard room. The baseboards in the bathroom were damaged and in the corners, missing. There wasn’t any information regarding the hotel in the room…no binder, flyer, nothing. No “do not disturb” sign, no channel information, all the little things that I have gotten used to with Hilton were not there. There was hair in the bed, on the floors, on the bathroom floors etc. the previous guest left his/her hair everywhere and the hotel staff didn’t do a good job of cleaning. Usually, with a Hilton stay, at least my Hilton stays, the maintenance staff would not enter your room until you check out unless you request it. Well, while we were gone, they “cleaned” our room. I would not have cared except we were unprepared for that. They took everything off of one bed, tossed it onto the other bed and made only one bed. Our things were separated for a purpose. Our sodas and drinks were strategically separated on the different desks and night stands because they weren’t labeled and we had the same things. Welp, they moved all our drinks and placed them on one table. One of our shopping bags were removed, because at a glance it looked like trash. There was trash on the top, but it wasn’t trash on the bottom. Let’s continue about the room. The toilet seat was loose and would move when you sit. I didn’t want to toilet surf. The cabinet doors were loose and not aligned. We requested the top floor as an upgrade and nothing about being on the top floor was an upgrade. The rooms are in desperate need of renovations. This is definitely not Hilton worthy. I’ve been a Hilton rewards member for 5 years now and have stayed at Hiltons in lots of states. For the price you’re paying in NYC you would think the decor would be better. I’m coming back in November for a “me-cation” but I’ve already cancelled my booking here. I’ll be looking for a different hotel to stay at.

A lovely clean and safe hotel. Location is great, a short walk to tines Square and in the opposite direction to Central park. The rooms are lovely and clean, but we have a room with 2 double beds (3 people) and there wasn't much room to get around. However, for a clean and safe place to sleep it was just what we needed. The staff are lovely, gave us directions and booked us a taxi for our trip back to the airport on our departure date.

Stayed for four nights, the front desk was more than 100 dollars at the check-in, fortunately I checked it. Ctrip customer service response is also very timely and fast. The hotel is conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan, with a wide selection of food, drink and entertainment. For Manhattan, the room size is OK, the twin room is booked, each bed is not small, and two people sleep enough. Shower gel shampoo lotion is a brand of neutrogena. Not very satisfied with the place: First, when you sleep, the sheets are always separated from the quilt; second, the breakfast is expensive and not good.

The environment is clean and the location is very good. Ctrip paid the full amount, but when I checked in, the hotel said it only paid a deposit and showed me their payment records. It seemed that it was Ctrip's problem that they did not transfer the room payment I paid to the hotel. After check-out, the hotel withheld more deposits. I found out after leaving the hotel. After communicating in time, the hotel said it was a mistake, which was outrageous. Fortunately, it was refunded in the end.
