The hotel is very nice and well positioned (close to any tour start point we had arranged). Rooms comfortable and clean. The front desk staff has been outstanding with any query but particularly in helping me with a package delivery i had arranged while i was there. The breakfast , altough continental, was a bit scarce and the breakfast attendant seemed quite stressed and annoyed at questions/requests. Overall I would surely recommend the hotel.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Initial interaction with the hotel front desk was curt and not at all friendly, later staff met mu expectations. We went out for breakfast and did not visit the bar.

Place is well maintained, nicely decorated and love the location. The staff was sparse but our needs were met. Parking is self parking for 24hours 70$. Would stay again…:-)

Joel at reception was outstanding. The rooms were adorable and cozy. Perfect location to attractions. Water pressure was a little low but would definitely stay again.

So much light comes thru the shower it acts as a night light. Check in was at 3. Room wasn’t available until 5. Family had to wait over an hour. Initial was told it was because of sweeping out feather pillows but was also told they were vacuuming. Breakfast was ok.

We’ve stayed in a wide range of places during our 15 years of annual trips to New Orleans, and I think this one will be right in the middle. It was fine. Not bad, not great, not memorable, probably wouldn’t go back. They DID let us check in a few hours early with no charge since our room was ready, so that’s nice. The welcome at check-in was lukewarm — and no perks or benefits or anything. That’s fine. My biggest qualm is that the photos posted here are misleading. The rooms don’t all have these big, bright windows. Our room — while spacious and clean — had one tiny, dirty window facing the parking lot. At night, the big parking lights shine right through it — so you have to close the blackout curtains (which I hate, because I always wake up in complete darkness, not knowing what time it is, even if it’s 9am). Mattress and pillows are very comfortable though, I’ll give them that. And the AC worked pretty well to keep the room cool. Coffee in the rooms was barely drinkable. Don’t even ask about tea. Not much better at breakfast. Breakfast is disappointing in general. A few pastries, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. If you can’t have gluten or dairy, you just have fruit. Very nice common area on the first floor for working or hanging out, but bar opens at 4pm — very strange for a city like New Orleans. Most hotel bars are open the majority of the day/night here. There is a train that goes by at 4am every night blasting its horns. You will hear it. It will probably wake you up. Besides that all else was fine.

Everything about this hotel was great. Location. Staff. Cleanliness. Beds. Amazing place to stay. One note. The shower is frosted on the side facing the beds, so you see the silhouette of the person showering. But more importantly, the glass is clear on the shower door. So if someone wants to use the toilet or sink while you are showering, you will see them naked in the shower. But we would absolutely stay here again as it really is a fantastically run hotel.
