"We are on the 11th day of a 12 day visit, as others have noted, some negative reviews made me a bit apprehensive BUT those reviewers must have been at a different hotel. The Mirage’s staff are welcoming and helpful. On Western European standards the decor is different, but that does not make the experience any less enjoyable. For Brits, the clientele who are predominantly Eastern European may appear a bit dour and down at heel ( there are not many smiles exchanged), however this would appear a cultural difference which us Brits need to accept, it does appear personal, people here reserve smiles for people they know and in fact the way we greet everyone with good morning and a smile to these other customers may come over as insincere and somewhat suspicious, we just carry on smiling and spreading the love. It is like going back 20 years, most people smoke (everywhere) and you get the usual ****** who set an alarm for 06:00 to baggy a sun lounger! The hotel is lovely, clean and well placed, there is no entertainment so be prepared to go out at night to find it. The walk to Old Town hugs the beach line and is flat taking about 15/20 minutes. Unless you really need, stay away from taxis, they will try to charge you €25 to get back to the hotel which can be no more than 1.5 K. I would willingly come back and have enjoyed the whole holiday. HOWEVER , if you are easily upset by what we Brits may perceive as dour faced ignorance, then go to Spain where they will smile happily while they rip you off. The Bulgarian people are lovely and attentively honest and helpful, just don’t expect many smiles. And remember the smoking, in England we are lucky in that we no longer have to suffer passive smoking, not so over here, smoking is probably ranked second only to football as a pastime and that includes the table next to you when you are eating. "Visitamos o hotel com amigos por uma semana em Junho. Tenho estado preocupado com algumas das críticas negativas, mas o hotel excedeu as nossas expectativas. As quartos eram grandes e limpas com vistas lindas do balcão. O que estas pessoas comem EM casa?Encontrámos tudo o que precisamos e havia UMA escolha digna para todos OS alimentos. É uma vergonha, mas há apenas um restaurante, e entendo que isso poderia ser um pouco "selâ" se você estivesse lá há mais de uma semana.Os vinhos brancos e rosas eram bebidos, mas eu não me iria correr para outro copo de vermelho. Encontramos que o entretenimento de noite não era realmente para nós.A noite búlgara e os dançares eram interessantes, mas o clube de noite Karaoke era realmente horrível! Fiquei desapontado por algumas pessoas fumarem no pequeno-almoço, almoço e jantar no espaço fechado, e percebi que isso não era permitido, MAS o pessoal me ofereceu um ashtray quando pedi. Nesebar é uma bela localização e a cidade velha é um curto passeio ou um autocarro a 1 €. Passámos muito tempo lá, caminhámos até a praia da cidade a cerca de 15 minutos. Obrigado especialmente à Kristina, que saiu do caminho para fazer nossa estadia UMA experiência tão boa."

"Um hotel maravilhoso, tranquilo e confortável. Você é recebido muito calorosamente, Como se você fosse um convidado especial. As quartos são limpos. Chris, o proprietário, é muito amigável e atento. Ele está sempre lá para ajudar se você precisar dele e feliz em oferecer conselhos ou recomendações. Estamos muito satisfeitos com o hotel. A localização também é conveniente. Os pequenos restaurantes e uma loja de vendas mais populares estão perto. Não é longe da praia ou da Cidade Velha.Os pequenos-almoços no hotel são domésticos e deliciosos. Vamos certamente estar lá de novo algum dia :)"

"We stayed there one night. It was lovely. Large room. Comfortable bed. Nice side terrace where we could see the sea and eat outside. Yes, we could see the neighbors from the hotel next door, but it wasn't a big deal. The beach is a 2-minute walk away, which is fantastic. Friendly welcome (note that they only speak Bulgarian). Old Nessebar is easily accessible by car."

"Viajamos com amigos e suas famílias, crianças idade 9-15. Quando tiveram a melhor altura, não queriam sair. O hotel é limpo e o pessoal é amigável e útil, mesmo que uma barreira linguística leve ocasionalmente, eles foram acima e para além. As quartos são fabulosos, espaçosos, muito modernos e muito bem limpos. O restaurante teve um pequeno-almoço, muitas opções, um pouco de espera para a torradeira ou máquina de café EM alguns momentos, mas considerando que viajamos no pico, é muito razoável. A localização do hotel é ideal com lojas a dez minutos a pé e muitos trabalhos na área, principalmente caminhadas, mas usamos táxis na maioria das noites, que o pessoal da recepção estava feliz de organizar e custar para nós. Você Pode visitar a praia Na Frente do hotel, ou ir um pouco Mais longe para Ravda ou a área de Nessebar Sul.A Cidade Velha é incrível e TEM muitos restaurantes, lojas e bares para escolher. A comida marinha é incrível EM Quase todas as partes, assim Como a pasta e o vinho.Tudo fora é realmente acessível e comemos todos OS dias por duas semanas. Visitamos o parque de água e a praia solar e também reservamos vinho para a velha cidade da região, que foi incrível!O sagrado restaurante também oferece desconto para os hóspedes do hotel.Em geral, uma das melhores férias que tivemos, gostaríamos de voltar."

"Fabulous adult only hotel in lovely Nessebar. Great location close to the beach, the new town and the gorgeous old town. Wonderful views from the rooftop sky bar and pool. Buffet restaurant always had lots of choice with different theme nights. If you're staying more than 5 nights you can go to the rooftop for an à la carte meal one of the evenings which was well worth doing and absolutely beautiful. Always lots of places to sit in the bars both in the sun and the shade, and always got a sun lounger whatever time we went down. Room was spotless and had everything we needed including a lovely view from the balcony even though it was just a side view. We aren't really bothered about entertainment in the hotel, during the day there were 2 young kids trying to get people to play darts etc, they were lovely and tried hard but don't think it's the right age range of customer. Evening entertainment was also just ok, the acrobats and singers were enjoyable but it doesn't last long. It didn't have a negative effect on our holiday at all but if the entertainment matters to you it might not be a great choice. It's a perfect choice though if you want a brilliant location, fantastic views, good food and drink, friendly helpful staff and a lovely chilled break."
