"The view from our room and the terrace were absolutely spectacular. And so was the road up to the lodge. Luckily nobody crossed our way. Bringing our whole luggage down the stairs (and when leaving up again) was also not convenient. We definitively did not accept the offer of the daughter of our hosts - this would have been too much for her. But thanks for the offer. The breakfast was also very good and the recommendations of Alan with respect to eating in Nelson as well. Thanks for hosting us, we will keep you in good memory. "

"The room was clean and tidy, with a good outdoor view, comfortable room, good location, and a small outdoor swimming pool. The service was also warm and thoughtful. The only drawback was that it was under the flight path, and there would be noise when the planes flew over, but there were not many planes in Nelson, so the impact was not too great."

"Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient. Facilities are good. I did however have a cluster of ants in my room. They were swiftly dealt with by staff within about 5 minutes after reporting. I was grateful for being able to leave luggage prior to check in but a bit disappointed i had to pay 2 nzd to store luggage in a locked on departure for about 90 to 120 minutes. I can understand charges for longer periods of left luggage on check out, but under 2 hours seemed a bit unfortunate. However i would still recommend the YHA for others, although if you want a more "party" type hostel, this isn't it."

"O último que ficou aqui em 2015 é um desfasamento de tempo entre aquela e a nossa próxima estadia, que foi de 3 noites em fevereiro. Este motel é amigável para animais de estimação, por isso escolhemos. Adicionar um suplemento de limpeza de $30 à sua estadia, ou seja, não é um encargo diário, e isso é bom.Sempre pensei que a reserva direta em qualquer alojamento lhe dê o melhor preço, mas no check-in posterior, não é o caso. Pagamos $225.00 por noite, $675 por três noites.Olhando para a reserva de três noites lá através de um popular site de reserva, EU recebi um preço de $446, então parece que OS bookers diretos estão subsidiando OS fornecedores de descontos que dão para as cadeias de reserva. Muito desiludido, especialmente para $225.00 por noite, espero UMA cozinha totalmente equipada, não um pequeno espaço com um plug EM placa quente."
