Overall we had a good stay. The staff were friendly and quite helpful. The hotel is between the airport and capital and is close to the lake and sea. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy the lovely pool.

Worst Hotel Experience ever 👹👹. Staff were pretty Ok but the Resort Manager Mr Sydney Wickramathilake is such a shame to that resort. Rudest manager i have ever met in the field of Hospitality. He was indirectly teelimg us just pay n get out. When we questioned him about the amenities and switching off the water connection in the full property. When asked he just kept saying this is a three star resort so this is what you will get in this property. if u have any to say just send email now pay and go. We booked in 8 Rooms totalling up 190k. And this is what we got. * Salty food with salt spilt in. The kothu was removed from the bill. * Soft drink bottles all smell of cockroach kill spray. * water disconnected in the night in all paid rooms and upon call they switched it on. *Ac not working * No water to drink, no coffee no sugar. * Dinner plates were not removed till we checked out . Flies all over. * Room Service ignorant to the maximum. * Upon arrival to the hotel with my newborn i asked the reception if they can drop the bags in our room and the guy said thats our job. It was raining so hard when we asked the umbrella to walk us to the room which was bery dar from the reception with the baby. The guy said i need the umbrella to walk around. * Rooms flooded with water (understand its mother natures fault) but when informed the manager he is asking what do u want me to do instead atleast changing the room and giving. Since all were travelling with families and babies. * I asked for a little lime and restaurant said we have lime only for us n not give out. Overally the stay at this resort is utter waste of money time and experience. Message to the boss: If you plan on running this resort with Mr. Sydney Wickramathilake as your resort manager you will soon runout of sales in this place and shut it down. We had a set of foreigners who we bumped into and they were complaining that this guys service is so irritating n the worst of our entire travel life. This visit in Srilanka has a black mark and thanks to Mr Sydney Wickramathilake for putting it against this resort. Worst stay ever and im telling u we will never recommend this place to anyone and spread the news of this hotel to all u can so tourists know what we they r going to pay here is not at all worth it . Till mr Sydney Wickramathilake runs it here..

Be aware before you go, they don’t serve pork. Overpriced place for their special Biryani which is horrible. We were booked for 14 pax on Sunday, the 17th of December 2023. Our reservation was handled by a gentleman called Sydney with terrible manners of the reservation details. Since we paid in advance LKR 15000, it was so hard to get him on the phone again. All we got was 100 percent confirmed message by WhatsApp. It was very unprofessional the way he handle the dinner reservation. He must learn what’s all about the hospitality. Even though Sydney was calling me on 16th December and waiting for our arrival but we had a reservation for the 17th December confirmed. This is how he handled it in an unprofessional way. Anyhow we were there on the 17th December at 6 20 pm but no one was there to direct us where to go. Once we were there in the small restaurant near by the swimming pool but table was not ready. The guy who worked in this small restaurant, then he started to arrange the table since we were there. Then we had a heavy rain and we all got wet as there was no rain covers around this restaurant and we felt it’s horrible. About the foods, all dishes were so sweet taste, not as it supposed to be as a spices. Other than the bites we ordered 2 Sawan Chicken Biryani which is really not proper Biryani, overpriced, nothing with the flavour of the Biryani taste. It’s just basically fried rice with roast chicken. Quantity was okay but quality was very disappointing. Presentation was horrible. We ask bucket of ice which was already melted when its came to the table, still they charged extra money for that which is unbearable. Service was okay, they are friendly but there is no one to guide them, they have lack of hospitality experience. Unfortunately we are not recommend this place to anyone and we definitely don’t waste our money again in this place.

I recently had a fantastic four-night vacation at a resort that truly exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious and well worth the price. The staff members were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist us in any way they could. The rooms were impeccably clean and provided all the necessary amenities. The pool area was well-maintained and inviting. One of the highlights was celebrating my birthday during our stay, and the staff went the extra mile to make it a memorable experience. They even helped us out when our vehicle faced a problem, making things much easier for us. Interestingly, though we initially planned for a two-night stay, we were so taken by the place that we extended it to four nights. Saying goodbye was a bit difficult as we had such a wonderful time. I'm eagerly looking forward to the opportunity to return. A noteworthy point is that the owner was exceptionally nice and contributed to making us feel extremely comfortable throughout our stay. If you're seeking a place with delectable food, a welcoming a**osphere, and friendly staff, I can't recommend this resort enough. It's truly a haven for relaxation and enjoyment.

We had a wonderful experience at Amaluna Resorts. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and the resort had the perfect landscape for a peaceful retreat. My daughter loved her stay, so we revisited for a few more days before returning to Australia. Thank you for a very pleasant experience!

The place was beautiful, the staff was excellent and the food was great. Few improvements needed all around like the WI-FI never worked. The rooms had coffee and tea but no milk throughout the stay. The pool can be cleaner than it was. And a few more things should have been attended. Other than that, a great place to be with your family or with your partner.

Amaluna is one of the best in Negombo. We really loved that pool. Delicious food from Kopi Kade. Very friendly staff and excellent customer service...so many sports activities around. Thank you Amaluna, surely we will return.

I went Amaluna with my husband for our first anniversary.Wow! they had done a romantic bed decoration for us."Kopi kade" foods delicious.We were warmly welcomed by the front desk staff was highly appreciated and they were made our first impression grate.🤗 Whole hotel environment was greeny and i love it. Many thanks to Whole Amaluna team for their dedicated service towards us and it really showed what the hospitality is. We will definitely come back again and highly recommended this hotel.
