Al-Hakim Boutique Hotel Old Town Nazareth

Me and my three grown boys stayed at the Al Hakim. It was a lovely hotel, with an old-town charm. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the classic Arab breakfast was welcome and satisfying every morning. The building has been in the owner's family for generations, and the family's influence is felt. It's location is also superb -- we could easily stay there for weeks exploring Old Nazareth. And Bassam also served as our guide, through Nazareth, the Sea of Galilee, Acre/Akka, Haifa, and most importantly, Safed. Bassam researched and helped me find my father's home! His personal engagement touched our hearts, and my family holds him in the greatest esteem.

A welcoming guest house very close to the Market, Greek Orthodox Church and all the main attractions. Abir is a great host and serves a great breakfast (included) according to her own receipts. The place has 10 rooms in two floors and are very nice.

We came with two adults and three children. We were received very friendly and we loved the big and clean room. It's a beautiful old building. Very nice atmosphere. The family is so kind and helpful and the area is quiet ànd in the center! Everything in walking distance. Lots of nice cafes, boutique shops, galleries and the Suq nearby. We had a wonderful breakfast buffet. Highly recommended!

Charming little hotel in the old town section of Nazareth. The owner Bassam was an excellent host as was his staff. Especially helping out with a few additional supplies that i requested. Also helping with getting my luggage up and down the stairs, and some recommendations on places to see when my tours got cancelled. The room was spacious. It had a desk, fridge and a kettle, tea and coffee. The bed was fine. Shower was good. However the hot water can take some time to come through. It does get there eventually. There are also mirrors in the room including a full length one. The hotel is a short walk to Mary’s Well where there are a few restaurants and a mini mart for supplies. It is also very short walk to the markets in The Old City and The Church of Annunciation. If traveling in by bus, i suggest getting off somewhere near Mary’s Well to save you pushing luggage up steep hills. (yes i made this mistake! lol) Thanks Bassam. Appreciate your kind hospitality. And i loved the chocolate! Nice touch.

Wonderful stay and a wonderful host! The room was nice, clean and well equipped. It is located at the heart of the old city and yet is very quiet. Our host was charming and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Nazareth, and full of good advice about things to do, places to see and places to eat in the city. Highly recommended!
