Archon Seaside Retreat

Beautiful two floors suite with ocean view, great location - just a few minutes walk from the magnificent Plaka beach and, amazing hosts - Christos and his family, who made our stay at Naxos unforgettable! The best choice for a relaxing holiday at Naxos.

Archon Seaside Retreat is delightful and very peaceful. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable . They include a fridge and crockery and cutlery which makes having meals on the terrace delightful. The chairs, table and umbrella on the terrace are also very welcome. You can see the sea from the pool and the terraces. Christos is charming, helpful and very very friendly. The pool area is gorgeous.

This place was amazing. Christos was so helpful and friendly. Great location with ample parking and so quiet and peaceful. I am extremely picky about cleanliness and this place was absolutely 5*. Walking distance to the beach. Still convenient to restaurants and if you want more options only a 15 min or less drive away.

This place is not a hotel as listed. Disgusting and remote property falsely advertised as a hotel Stole my money and refused any compensation after I left after one night. They lied to *********** that I did not show up to my reservation. Stay far away from this place

We loved our four night stay here, and would have stayed for longer had we been able to. Lovely reception from Christos, beautiful room with stunning en suite shower, great pool area and the beach is literally across the road. Christos couldn't have been more helpful, and we followed his recommendations for eating out and exploring, all of which were GREAT. Do hire a car as the inland villages are beautiful and well worth a visit. Good restaurants are within 1-5 km. Don't leave without trying Kontos. It's a wonderful beachside restaurant with extremely good food.

Wonderful location and experience. If you want to feel the “real Greece” leave some of the tourist traps of Mykonos and Santorini and visit the other islands. Amazing host Christos who communicated incredibly well, gave us great tips of where to go where to eat and what beaches to hit and what to see. He was very accomodating and always enquiring how he could be of assistance Need a car but unless you want to only stay in town get a car. Naxos is extremely relaxing and great food and great beaches - it was our favourite part of two weeks in Greece and would come back in a heartbeat Rooms were beautiful and cool and clean, daily housekeeping, great aircon. Bakery and coffee just down the road and beach on other side of road. Tip- book rotunda for dinner one night - sunset is amazing and the food is even better

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay in Naxos at Archon Seaside Retreat. The apartment was clean, comfortable and beautiful! Christos and Eleni were wonderful hosts with great suggestions for activities and restaurants. The location was perfect, a few minute walk from Plaka beach and a short drive to several other beaches and restaurants.

Das Archon Seaside Retreat ist ganz neu am südlichen Ende von Plaka Beach. Wir waren Ende Mai füe 4 Nächte dort und hätten es sicher noch einige Zeit länger ausgehalten. Christos war für alle unsere Fragen immer erreichbar und gab uns gute Tipps. Da es kein Frühstück gibt sind wir morgens mit den Rädern (stehe gratis zu Verfügung) zur Bäckerei gefahren, die nur ein paar hundert Meter entfernt liegt. Dort gab es guten und günstigen Capuccino und leckeres Gebäck. Plaka Beach ist wunderschön und dort unten zumindest zu dieser Zeit sehr ruhig. Man kann kilometerweit am Sandstrand entlang laufen. Ein Auto sollte man jedoch schon haben, dann ist man auch sehr zentral in Chora und in den Dörfern. Den Strand hat man ja vor der Haustür... Tipp: Nachmittags nach Alyko fahren und dort Strand und die Hotelruine mit der Streetart besuchen

Wir waren im Juli für 11 Nächte in diesem schönen Refugium und wäre gerne noch länger geblieben. Die kleine Ferienanlage wird von dem sympathischen Besitzerehepaar Christos und Eleni mit viel Herzblut geführt. Wir haben von Christos sehr viele gute Ausflugstipps oder Restaurantempfehlungen erhalten. Erst vor einem Jahr wurde dieser wunderbare Rückzugsort eröffnet und ist aus unserer Sicht die schönste Unterkunft in Plaka. Als Familie mit zwei jugendlichen Kindern hatten wir das Premium Haus mit zwei Schlafzimmern gebucht. Es war perfekt! Das Haus wurde jeden Tag penibel gereinigt. Die Küche ist mit allem, was man benötigt, ausgestattet. Wir haben von unserer Terrrasse oder auch vom Balkon die schönsten Sonnenuntergänge genossen. Die komfortable, minimalistische und moderne Gestaltung der Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen. Die kleinen Gärten vor den Appartements sind mit viel Liebe angelegt. Der wirklich große Pool lädt zum Schwimmen ein. Selten hatten wir so bequeme Pool-Liegen! Obwohl die kleine Anlage ausgebucht war, hatten wir sehr viel Privatsphäre. Den Strand erreicht man nach wenigen Minuten zu Fuß. Bemerkenswert ist, dass wir trotz Hauptsaison, fußläufig kleine Strandbuchten fanden, wor wir nahezu alleine waren! Die 500 Meter entferne Bäckerei ist ein Muss!!! Ein Mietwagen ist empfehlenswert. Für uns ist klar, dass wir den nächsten Sommerurlaub wieder in dieser wunderschönen Anlage verbringen werden.
