Rest Motels

The staff or owners, were noisy until late. Then loud talking and laughing at 5am. Music and loud talking/laughing at 5:30am until 6:10am.

Booked for a week, but then unable to go on trip. Called to cancel 3 days beforehand to be told there is no cancellations allowed at all. I booked through their website, and nowhere on the website did it say there was no cancellations allowed. Lost all of my money. Really not happy

To say it was newly renovated, it would fail the approval of the Building code of Australia. no disabled hand rails, hand basin too high, no appropriate soap holder, Wasted approximately 12litres of water before hot water was available. These items spoiled what was a beautiful vacation.

Super easy electronic check in. Tidy rooms & a comfortable bed. Not the flashiest place but bang for your buck you can’t go wrong.

Light swich face plate hanging off the wall. Very limited and uncomfortable chairs. However cleanliness was good.

Mario was absolutely sensational, extremely friendly service, will definitely be staying again

It looked like it was undergoing Reno’s and had tarps on the roof. Had we not already paid we definitely wouldn’t have stopped. It was very noisy both with passing trucks and next doors beeping microwave at 5 in the morning sounded like it was in our room. No outdoor lighting under the verandah

Mould on fridge cheap thin bed linen and blanket roof being repaired over all rooms. Holes in ceiling floor heavily stained. Cleaner friendly owner not

I had a bad experience with this motel and checked out early, they refused me a refund for the two nights I could not stay there. On advice I took the matter up with the SA Dept of Consumer Affairs (or something) After many months I was contacted by a lady from the Depar**ent who promised to take the matter up with the Motel. Shortly after she called back to advise that the Management had refuted my claims and that my only option was to take private legal actionj - which I am tempted to do. In their interview it was apparent the Motel Management had told lies. For example saying I had left a "Do Not Distuirb" sign on the door - I certainly had not!! But in any event it does not excuse the poor state of the room , the lack of reliable TV and electrical appliances and the surly attitude I encountered. AS I said in my previous review, if this is the only MOtel left with a room - just drive on---
