Serendipity

Located a 5 minute walk from the airport shuttle bus stop, Serendipity is next door to McDonald's. The room we used was basic but spotlessly clean. There was plenty of hot water for showers. Although facing a busy square, the room was quiet, and we were not bothered by cooking smells from the many restaurants in the vicinity. Although advertised as a B&B no breakfast is provided, although there is a range of teas and coffees. If you like fresh milk in hot drinks it can be purchased from the shop next door and kept it in the room fridge. We were very pleased with the room and would recommend it to friends and family looking for a convenient place to stay for a few days in Naples.

I am usually a big fan of big chain hotels especially when traveling solo (for safety & comfort), but this B&B listing caught my eye when I was looking for a place to stay in Naples. It seemed central, clean and spacious, so i went for it. It has not disappointed me in the least, it actually exceeded my expectations! Cleanliness: absolutely spotless, i even asked them if it's a new establishment and they said it had been running for 7 years actually. I would never have guessed, because everything looked brand new and smelled amazing! Amenities:everything you need, including breakfast delivered to your room, with your choice of coffee and fresh pastries. Tea and coffee machine also available in the reception area (literally outside your door). The room is well equipped, the bathroom has everything you need and is very modern. Location: in front of Metro Garibaldi, very convenient! Also walking distance to the Historical center and Via Toledo, both interesting places to visit. Some nights there is like a mini market going on in the area, which means a lot of men selling stuff BUT i walked alone (in summer dresses) in the evenings and i did not feel unsafe at all. It's just like any other EU city at night, saw the same in Athens, Barcelona, Rome etc, so you have to be as cautious as you would be anywhere else. Entering the B&B is by key downstairs, entry code upstairs, and key to your room, so there is literally no reason to have safety concerns (as it's said in the comment below mine). Also, waking up to the views of Mount Vesuvius was lovely! The hospitality was high standard, and i have already recommended this place to my friends. I will definitely be back! Abbiamo soggiornato due notti e ci siamo trovati benissimo, la stanza era pulitissima, premetto che sono maniaca della pulizia ed è stata la prima volta che non ho avuto nulla da ridire. Alessandra è stata molto carina, gentile, disponibile, professionale e ti mette subito a tuo agio, la stanza è molto curato anche nell'arredamento e con i gusti confort, la posizione è strategica e sebbene sia vicino alla stazione tornando anche le notte tardi non ci siamo mai minimamente sentiti poco al sicuro perché c'è sempre la polizza che gira per la piazza. Se venite in vacanza a Napoli vi consiglio vivamente questo delizioso B&B
