LOVE THE RELAXED ATMOSPHERE, UNIT LAYOUTS, AND ATTRACTIVE GARDENS AND POND AT CUBANA. THE RESORT IS WELL PRESENTED AND WELL MAINTAINED, OFFERING GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. ALSO IN AN EXCELLENT LOCATION TO THE UNIQUE ISLAND GOLF COURSE AND CLUB.

By far the best accommodation I have experienced for an overnight stay on the way from Sydney to Tweed Heads. Beautiful, tastefully decorated, clean rooms. Beds were so comfortable; we had a great sleep. From check-in where I was greeted by reception with a beautiful, friendly smile and welcome, all the staff I came into contact with were happy, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, with gluten free granola gluten free bread and dairy free milk, so a real bonus for me, as often I am left with no alternatives. My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend or stay here again on our next visit. Thankyou!

Really a lovely place for an overnight pitstop. Comfortable bed. Thoughtful appointments. Everything you need and lovely grounds and gardens to walk your dog! Sadly their restaurant was not open when I visited but there are plenty of places for food in Nambucca. I recommend this

The Cubana provides spacious and comfortable rooms. Each room has access to and views of the lily pond and gardens . All rooms have private terrace or balcony with outdoor settings and are designed to be the perfect place to relax and sleep well. Facilities include a pool, spa, bicycle & paddle board hire & a gym. The dinning room is situated overlooking the lily pond which adds to a relaxed & enjoyable breakfast setting. Highly recommend The Cubana for your visit to Nambucca Heads & surrounding locations.

A lovely location, kind and friendly staff, relaxed, spacious rooms and a charming vibe. Excellent location too - don't be put off by it appearing to be close to a main road - no traffic noise, and just across the road from the serene river. We enjoyed our stay and intend to return.

Easy stop on the way to Surfers Paradise. Motel is clean, comfortable and pretty, with a few cute photo ops. We really liked the easy walk on the boardwalk to the RSL for dinner. Continental breakfast was simple but just what we needed and proper coffee! The highlight was the customer service. Nothing was too much trouble and the complimentary bottle of red wine was a very nice surprise to make up for a very small inconvenience. Looking at booking here again for our return trip!

Spacious room with excellent outlook over a pond and fountain. Central location, great king bed, clean spaces and courteous staff. Easy access to river walk and jetty for fishing. Short walk to Nambucca plaza or short drive up to the main town. All you could ask for!

Lovely retro place to stop, quiet location. Well maintained, spacious and laid out room which is very comfortable located beside lake. Nice place to have a relaxing drink overlooking the fountain. Reception staff very professional - booking was easy and they were also helpful for finding places to eat. Unfortunately their restaurant, bar was closed. We had used them on previous occasions and were looking forward to trying again. Parking at door, so level walk in.

Clean, convenient for one overnight stay in short driving distance to Nambucca Heads.Next time will stay closer to the beach and restaurants walking distance. Expensive but it was Easter. Main complaint no hot water for a shower annoying after a 6hour drive. Can’t recommend.
