The worst motel I've ever stayed at. It completely ruined half of our time in Myrtle Beach. Parking lot was off site about 3 blocks from motel. Just a chain link fence around an empty grass lot with no security or locked gate. Parking on site to check in or unload luggage was extremely limited and if you just pull in then so will other cars and you end up boxed in parallel and unable to move your car at all. We kept our luggage in the car. Pool was closed due to covid per sign but was dirty and in no condition to be used anyway. The entire outer property was disgusting. Literal trash everywhere piled up. We saw a roach with a body size of my big toe on the outer stair. Cigarette butts everywhere. Just absolute filth. Graffiti, criminal activity obvious. Room itself was horrible. Smelled of mildew, carpet was wet major water damage to all walls, ceiling, carpet. Old food in fridge from previous guest. Door had shoddy repair work around door frame, no chain link lock. We had many moths in the room but no signs of other bugs. Pillows were flat. Antichrist drawings on the door, wall and inside the bible. Light by bed had no bulb or shade, the other lamp wouldn't turn on even with a bulb and plugged in. Curtain was broken and hanging by a few of the hooks. Patio had broken bars on the patio gate which is a huge safety issue. We were on the 3rd floor too. A child absolutely could have fallen through this from the 3rd floor and died. And I had a young child with me who would have fit through this. One chair on patio, it was not even real patio chair but a regular chair, the entire seat cushion was blown out and old padding laying around the chair. I mean how hard it is to throw away trash and power wash? This building should be condemned.
