Beautiful hotel, amazing views.. but be weary of the housekeeper and manager!!!!!! Never had such an awful experience dealing with a manager. Not even sure how she still has this job when she has no idea how to manage a situation. To preface, I am not someone who complains about things for no reason (a Karen), but I had to bring to their attention that two items in our room were STOLEN from the housekeeper. At first, I believed it to be an accident since I only thought it was one item, until my daughter said something else from her room went missing. That was not a coincidence, so I spoke to the gentleman at the front desk who also agreed it was not a coincidence and apologized. The day we were leaving, I had to approach the manager (although she was already informed about what had happened) and off the bat the way she spoke to me was rude. I explained the problem and she replied that my items did not get stolen because they have had that same housekeeper for three years and no one has ever complained. Instead of doing the bare minimum of apologizing and saying she will handle the situation, she called me a liar, and when I asked if she was calling me a liar she denied it and said she will pull up the cameras for proof. The other minor problem I brought up to her was that we were given cold cuts for breakfast the second day of our stay because no one provided us the menu with different options for complimentary breakfast, and we had no idea it existed until we were given it the third day. Once again, she was extremely rude. She spoke in a condescending tone and she never once apologized. Instead, it seemed like she was pissed at us and thought we were trying to avoid paying the food bill, which was not the case. We just wanted to inform her of these situations but for some reason she was annoyed. I told her I’d leave a review so other people are aware of what I dealt with and she said she doesn’t care. Also, we thought the food bill would be charged on the card they had on file (misunderstanding) so when we were about to leave she came running to us threatening to take legal actions for not paying. When I complained about her horrible managing skills she replied to look her name up because she only has good reviews. What kind of manager brags about their reviews in a conversation about the problems we experienced?
