The staff at VIVA Blue & Spa turned a good experience into an exceptional one. I was participating in a road cycling training led by BaseCamp Cycling. After one particularly hard ride, I suffered a nasty cramp but Joanna, one of the physiotherapists at the Spa sorted that out in one session. A few days later, I was one a ride in the rain on a patch of rough road and I went down. Nothing serious but I broke one of my gear shifters. I called all around Mallorca but everyone told me they’d have to order the part and shipping would take 3+ days. Fortunately I mentioned this to Xavier in the Bike Service Department who is also an avid cyclist. He called an old friend who was an ex-pro racer and now runs a bike shop in Manacor. Sure enough, the shop had the part and could repair it the next morning. I followed through and was able to ride the next day for the best ride of the trip. Xavi and the bike shop basically saved my trip! They went above and beyond the call of duty but Xavi said this is just in a day’s work. Amazing! I’d also like to thank Oscar and actually all the front office desk staff for providing me with excellent information and logistics. The restaurant staff were also friendly and made dining a relaxing and enjoyable experience time and time again. The people at VIVA Blue & Spa are what really makes this hotel stand out. I look forward to staying here again next year. Last but least, the facilities are well thought out and make life easy for families, especially for athletes. Highly recommend. Cheers, -A
