"I stayed at Termus Hotel at Balneario de Archena for 3 nights in June 2023 with 7 friends. The hotel and food was average, but we were there for the spa which was lovely and the sunshine. Of the four rooms we occupied, guests in two of the rooms experienced items going missing from our rooms. We reported this before our departure, as we wanted to pack and check all areas to make sure they were missing before reporting it. Before we left, two hotel staff members came to my room and asked if they can search the room for my missing item. The search suggested a degree of mistrust, as though we were lying, but I agreed to the search. They couldn't find it, even after also searching my personal case and bags. They didn't find the item, and I was told they would look into this and we could remain in contact to resolve the matter. However, what followed was over two months of unhelpful and unprofessional emails from the hotel, sometimes having to chase for a reply. All we wanted was for the hotel to acknowledge this had happened in their establishment, to tell us how they had look into/dealt with this (more than simply checking how many times our key card had been used!) and to offer compensation so we could replace our items. We had initially agreed not to post negative reviews on TripAdvisor because we expected the hotel to resolve the matter. However, after weeks of frustrating emails and nothing being resolved, we agreed to place reviews on TripAdvisor to warn future guests. When notifying the hotel of this we were then accused of 'blackmail'. My item (a ring) cost £60, and I don't think I'd go through all this trouble to make £60!! It was more about the principle of it rather than any compensation, and what is right and wrong. Items should never go missing from your hotel room, and if they do the hotel should deal with this with the highest professional standards, but sadly that has not been our experience of this hotel and I therefore do not recommend staying here. "

"The hotel is only living from past times - and because families with young children come to pool and entertainment cheaply. Surely not worth 4 stars. The maintenance is disastrous everywhere, in my room a lamp was hanging only on her cable from the roof, this was also full of black spots (photos). 2 times during the evening/night a very loud alarm started, which took more than half an hour until the staff finally could stop it. There was no excuse for this the next day. in the poor general condition quite scary. The staff is also completely uninterested in the guests - at the arrival (I had made the reservation in Spanish and spoke only Spanish with the staff) she texted me with completely uninteresting information for minutes - in English! She had not listened to me at all! At breakfast, no one was interested if I were at all hotel guests, the two girls were reclining together in a corner. As all doors were open throughout the EC (including those to pool and spa), you were surrounded by children's cries, you felt more like in a recreational park than in a 4-STerne-Hotel. The room as such was ok (except for maintenance), the bathroom was separated from the room by a glass sheet, i.e. when a person was in the bathroom, the room was also lighted - not very pleasant for the partner when you have to go to the toilet at night. The air conditioning did not work (in July!), i.e. I had to leave the window open all night - and get the noise from outside. The only positive is the location - really just a few meters next to the highway."

"Um Hotel tão bonito.Está localizado perto Da pieira e à direita Da margem Da cidade. Então você Pode explorar todos OS restaurantes e cafés e andar por aí SEM ter que se mudar por um Longo tempo. Não percebi que era UMA sucursal DOS hotéis Marriott, então era UMA surpresa. Eles têm estacionamento de elevador, mas podem ser baratos se você ficar por alguns dias.A equipe era muito bonita e bem-vinda, sentiu-se muito confortável."

"it was a big problem with the check in. I didn’t receive the email the PIN code to enter the apartment and they said that it’s trip com didn’t send this email to me because they didn’t have my email. We spent an hour to contact the apartment and get inside. The location is good. The apartment is not clean, only shower gel is provided, so better to have your own cosmetics etc. A LOT !!! of ants living in the apartment."
