Fantastic location for breathtaking views,off the beaten track nothing nearby. The Hotel rooms were tired and in need of upgrade. though charming. The staff were friendly. The food was excellent Victor the Chef did cooking demonstration every evening which were outstanding. He is a wonderful Chef a credit to the Hotel. Enjoyed our stay.

The Tea Valley Resort is located on top of a mountain in Munnar. The view is fabulous overlooking The Valley below and the mountains. The morning and the evening views are very beautiful. Pros: 1. The view 2. Helpful staff 3. Morning breakfast is good Cons. 1. Very old property doors do not have proper locks 2. The Bathroom stinks without proper ventilation 3. The rooms have a gloomy smell 4. Food at the restaurant is average You need to wait a lot for the food to be prepared 5

5star for the valley view from the rooms. Descent rooms with large balcony. Very good service and polite staff. Good food. The resort is located too deep inside. One cannot go without own vehicle. Once moved inside, difficult to come out for small needs. It has a small pool and a play area. Overall a good experience and worth for the price given.

The property is a beautiful, nestled amongst tea plantation and with 29 semi detached cottages, the stay offers privacy and views of the plantation right from your balcony- yes every cottage has a balcony facing the tea plantation. You can walk down to most of the view points like Pothamedu view point. And if not, take your pics stepping right outside the property gates. We stayed in luxury cottage with 3 adults and 1 child. The rooms are spacious and furnished, not luxury level but enough to give you a good stay. In the evening, the clouds descend onto your balcony literally. The restaurant offers complimentary breakfast and paid lunch and dinner (Rs 400 plus taxes) and it was good option. The road leading to the property from view point is a bit rough and needs good driving skills. If you are uncomfortable, pls ask property to send a driver. Pls do carry BSNL sim since no other service works here. Ask for Wi-Fi password at property. Overall I will definitely recommend Tea Valley Munnar to all my friends

In lap of nature where the morning mist greets you and the dusk settles around the surrounding tea estates..a surreal feeling. The people are very kind and helpful, spontaneous with any requirement. I travelled with my parents, my father is a senior citizen and all his needs were well addressed. Rooms are cozy..I stayed in 202 and 203 and the view was brilliant--giving away to the entire valley! Food is also good for all taste buds! The plus was internet connectivity for urgent stuff. If you are a nature lover, it is perfect for solo stay too!!

The view from rooms balcony was breath taking.. Mesmerizing view of munnar hills covered with clouds was simply awesome.. can't explain it in words.. food was good and staff was so helpful and friendly... But has to mention, the approach road, of about 2.5 km from Headworks Dam till resort was a bit bumpy ride.. For those who likes a bit off-road ing, its ok. But for an inexperienced driver, it will be bit challenging.. overall a very good resort for a family vacation

Spent two days in the area to explore Munnar and it’s surrounds. The hotel was chosen for us by our agent, and it was a nice place to stay. It’s an older resort, basic, rustic, but the views are spectacular. The breakfast buffet was generous and tasty, however we did not eat dinner as we had eaten outside in both nights that we stayed here. Staff are friendly and attentive. Free wifi is good enough, 4G coverage in the area isn’t so good. All in, a pleasant stay.

Very nice view, swimming pool nice, overall location and view are so relaxing.... Food is average and a little expensive..... Housekeeping was very bad, the bed sheet wasn't cleaned properly.... Do not choose this resort if you have little idea about driving uphill...

This was my second stay in this property, and I am happy that I chose this property again. Located right between the Tea Gardens of Munnar, this resort it approximately 2 kms away from the main road. Since we were traveling on a large vehicle hence we had to take a longer route because they were not allowed to cross a small bridge which made us waste approx 40 more minutes, but the hotel ***agement was very helpful who later arranged for our pickup and drop to the main road. The beauty of this resort is its location. Don't expect luxurious accommodations, but the accommodation is still very good, neat and clean. The only thing I think they should improve is the food variety and taste, which we did not enjoy this time, but still our stay was very nice and comfortable.
