Giving this place one green bubble is being overly generous. Almost nothing in the room correctly worked, or it was filthy. Pick one. Read other guest's reviews for confirmation. The breakfast was rather ordinary, and was jam packed, as if they were trying to see how many Covid cases they could spread in a single morning. They are severely understaffed, and the staff they do have range from indifferent to downright hostile and threatening. The maids and restaurant staff were very hard working, but there was little they could do to make anything better. The outside area sidewalk appears to be where the City has authorized some homeless to live. On the positive side, the view I had from a high floor was quite nice, no question the location near the main train station is convenient, and I wasn't robbed while there. My impression is it is a hotel long overdue to be gutted and renovated, from top to bottom. But sadly, they could only get a few extra euros per night, so it's just not worth it for them to keep the place up, or even have basic courtesy to guests. There are so many better choices nearby, I would suggest looking at the map feature when booking. If you randomly pick any other hotel nearby, I'm confident you will get a better experience and value. Read the other reviews and decide for yourself. When I tried to complain to the owners, I was led to a low budget Spanish hotel chain, with headquarters in Spain. They had less interest in hearing about complaints than the very rude hotel manager did. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
