From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was outstanding – the staff made me feel incredibly welcome and catered to every need with a smile. The rooms were beautifully appointed, offering stunning views of the Gateway of India and the Arabian Sea. The attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel, from the decor to the amenities, was impeccable. Dining at their restaurants was a highlight – each meal was a culinary delight, especially at the Sea Lounge. The location is prime, allowing easy access to key landmarks in South Mumbai. Whether for a leisurely stay or a business trip, The Taj Mahal Tower offers a five-star experience with a timeless charm. I look forward to returning

Beautiful historic hotel which is iconic in South Mumbai opposite the Gateway of India. The club room was beautiful and well appointed. Service was polite but requests from the room were a little slow to be responded to and we didn’t meet the ‘butler’ that was supposed to be available to us throughout our stay. There was some construction work happening on the roof directly above our room during our stay which was deafeningly loud, it took 3 calls to the front desk to get a resolution which was disappointing. At this level of hotel I would have expected at least a warning before the work started and a plan on how to mitigate its effects on us without us having to complain. Having a toddler needing an afternoon nap whilst jackhammers were pounding the ceiling was not an experience we enjoyed. To their credit they did stop the work for 2 hours to let our child nap, but the experience lessened appreciation of the Taj stay.

The stay was okay. Staff was very helpful. Overall stay was warm and welcoming. They had a decent breakfast spread, you will surely find something to pick. The location of this hotel is very close to taj hotel and gateway of india, one can easily walk and discover things. Rooms are a bit old- furniture, look and feel can be upgraded.

It is already the second time to stay, quiet in the middle of noisy, surrounded by slums! It is very convenient to eat, there is a very small hotel. It is also very close to the India Gate. It is a very good place to travel and the price is very good!

The hotel staff are very welcoming, and when they check-in, they will send sour plum soup, and they will always say hello every day. Compared with local service levels, it has become very international. Breakfast is also very good, especially compared to the local situation, it is really international. The location is also very good, walking distance to popular attractions such as the India Gate and Museum. It’s a good shopping spot everywhere, there’s a shopping street and a hand-made keychain (see video). However, many people's attractions and shopping spots are easy to eat tofu by Indians, so be very careful!

I will start this by saying this hotel is amazing and I think anyone visiting Mumbai should stay here. I’m a backpacker from USA & took me a while to find a good hotel in Mumbai, since it was my first time visiting this amazing city. Every hotel had bad reviews or highly expensive. So I decided to pick this one and hired a taxi service, (which you could do on this website.) The hotel is a drive down south from the airport in Colaba. The location is perfect. It’s down the street from the famous Taj Mahal hotel so how could it get any better. A short walk from all the touristy spots. It’s perfect. The hotel felt very safe. There’s security that watches over you and the rooms are on the second floor. There’s a front desk and everyone there is kind and helpful. The room is very clean, no bugs, no dust, good ac, little candies and a perfect shower. Perfect pressure, perfect hot water. They have tea, coffee and unlimited water bottles. The breakfast is the best part. Don’t skip out on it! They have a lot of options from Indian to western & everything is made with care and love. The breakfast might be the best part :) idk who the chef is but he/she did a wonderful job. Okay, so no more searching and stressing! Book this hotel, it’s a winner!

Location - excellent, food - no in house restaurant, amenities - excellent, services - excellent, excellent rooms, clean beds, clean washrooms.

The hotel is excellent location for exploring Mumbai. I paid extra to have a sea view. Was hoping for double bed. The twin room beds were small and not very comfortable. Room pretty basic. Staff very helpful. Overall for price not bad but not great.

***** with having great accomodation and location, this place offers a perfect stay. However, the entrance was a little clumsy and even if we had booked deluxe room with taj view, there were no blow dryer and electric kettle. Also hotel restaurant is very bad with respect to room service. But complimentary breakfast was good and tasty. 100% recommended hotel under 2 to 4k at this place.
