Hotel Kemps Corner

This hotel does something so cool and different from other hotels I’ve been to in India, they offer complimentary snacks in the evening from 5:30-6:30pm which offers you an opportunity to try local food. They also put a few snacks in your room which was a really nice touch. They also offer a complimentary foot massage each morning which is a really nice to have. The staff are incredibly nice. The best part of my room was the little balcony. The bed and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable though! It’s a well located hotel and about 5km from most tourist attractions and taxis are easy to come by.

The breakfast which was included was above our expectations and the staff there were very friendly. There was also snacks available in the afternoon which was a nice touch as the food was very good. The location of the hotel was good for the south of Mumbai and only 35 mins from the airport in a car. If you have a lot of activities in the north I would maybe recommend against this hotel as there would be a lot of travelling.The door staff and bell boys were also very polite and would go out of their way to do things for you. Unfortunately the worst part of our experience was the reception staff who gave you the feeling of being a burden. A lot of requests and questions were met with short answers and not much of a smile. Lastly the layout of our room was strange with the bed in the centre of the room and next to the phone on the wall which you would knock off the handle if you moved in the night. Also the room was different to the pictures on the site.

The hotel is OK but the shortcomings that we observed are as follows - The room doesn't have any luggage storage place. The tea/coffee hot kettle storage place is cramped and not at all user-friendly. The cups were not good and the kettle is small and the wire is too small and tied where we had a couple of near miss of getting burnt. The food and service is average.

The WiFi didn’t work during most of our stay, the music and foot massage at the roof top was incredible

Hotel Kemp Corner is a hidden gem, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The room was small but comfortable. Their breakfast and late afternoon snacks are to die for. They have s great variety for breakfast every day. But the star of the day is to see what they are cooking up for snack time. We got to try some delicious snacks. In the lobby they have game you can play, chess, tic tac toe just to name a few.

Very good stay, highly recommend. Superb staff, clean rooms and comfortable. Also a very cute terrace to have breakfast on. Definitely recommended for a great location on a relatively decent budget. The staff is also very responsive at any time

Smiling and helpful staff in a conveniently located hotel. The hotel is by the August Kranti Marg, took me 50 min from the Mumbai Airport in a cab. It has quite a few eateries within a 500m radius. Rooms are clean and very well maintained. Good selection of coffee and chai ☕️ in rooms. Breakfast on the terrace is an added attraction with a delicious and healthy spread. A well recommended stay of one is in South Mumbai.

We had a compact but clean room. Lovely friendly staff, hotel in a good location to reach north and south Mumbai and easy to get taxi's. Really good breakfast in a peaceful rooftop location. The hotel offer a laundry service too which is quick.
