Good hotel near to sightseeing. There are beautiful places to walk in early morning or evening. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. Geloria Jean's coffee is in walking distance. We had half bored. breackfast and dinner was excellent. Tea time was OK.

sabah kahvaltısı güzeldi fakat akşam yemeklerinde çok fazla et türü vardı et yetmeyenler için değiştirilmesi gereken bir menü. Odalar temizdi ve yatak rahattı. Onun dışında iki tane yavru köpek için sabah sabah belediyeyi çağırıp yavruları toplattılar. Bu açıkçası bizi çok rahatsız etti, işletmenin talebi üzerine annesinden henüz ayrılmaması gereken iki yavru köpeğin belediye ekiplerine verilmesi bizi rahatsız etti

We were unfortunate enough to have rooms assigned on the 3rd floor, which has a pub/baR. Our rooms were diagonally across it, and facing a public toilet. Hence you can imagine how noisy it is. There was constant foot traffic right outside our door. The live singing went on till almost 12am. The rooms are small and furnishing is dated.

An amazing hotel in a quiet area facing the Abant lake. An Amazing view of the lake from my room and various choices for breakfast and dinner. Definitely i will come back to this hotel. Highly recommended!

My first stay was not good as this time. I had written a review back on August 2018 with few negatives found. I can see the improvements at this stay in many areas. The internet is great and the windows are equipped with screens to stop flys from coming inside. Also, I found the included breakfast and dinner are marvelous with all sorts of delicious fresh foods. The in-charged (manager) of the main restaurant is doing a great job as all staffs were found helpful and excel to make us enjoy eating and our time up there. The place remains the best in town as the green and the lovely weather including the lake around are remarkable and great. I found weak Arabic translation of instructions to use the inside swimming pool. Please arrange for decent translation. I can help if you like

Hotel staff follows you and doesn’t serve without tips. Even after giving tip to one garson, he is saying to another one and next one comes to you and doing something for 100 TL. Continuously this process is going on. You can not bring alcohol drink to restaurant. But if you would give 300 TL tip, they are allowing. Dinner is not delicious. But the breakfast is very good. The place is excellent. Hotel rooms are very small and old. I’m not sure I can recommend or not.

When it comes to hotel; Never expect a good performance from internet it is terrible, therefore i had to buy mobile internet package so hotel doesnt deserve 5-star. Room cleaning depend on your demanding not routinely made, so hotel doesnt deserve 5-star. Parkbed for my kid was at least ten years, torn places sewn, couldnt stand properly, mesh part was torn, so hotel doesnt deserve 5-star. At branch time coffee, tea are free but later on they have unreasonably price, please let customers drink these conventional drinks freely. Amount of sittings at the big hall(lobby) are lacking, people are waiting for others standing up and leaving there to be able to sit and take a breath. Music hall is unsatisfactory because only for 40 humans. At the Nilufer restaurant, all staffs are very helpful, nice, friendly, special thank them so much those from chief to waiters, waitress to all because they are really concerned with service to customer respectfully. Finally, the hotel is actually not deserving 5-star, maybe 4.3- Star. Why I am saying that price and total service not matched. When it comes to Lake Abant; It is really worth seeing those unique nature and landscape.You can spend a quiet weekend or holiday at Lake Abant, also should be walked around it is nearly 7 km in lenght and take quite enjoying time. Next time, i will read the reviews conscientiously about internet improvement then will decide whether to book or not.

PROS - Prime location just next to Lake Abant, friendly and professional staff, delicious buffet style unlimited food for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed live music concert with Mustafa after the dinner. His voice was amazing and he played our favorite songs with his guitar. Car parking was very easy. Lake access was accessible. We enjoyed spending some time in sauna and have a massage after a long day. Didem the massager was friendly and adjusted her pressure according to our needs. I’d definitely go Buyuk Abant Hotel again next time when we go to Lake Abant.
CONS - there was not enough towels for 2 people in our room. Only one big shower towel and one hand towel was placed in the bathroom. They provided more towels upon request but I’d expect to have enough towels and also a bathrobe ready upon arrival in a 5 star hotel. They didn’t read my room requests that I wrote during the booking.
