5 Lasserre

Lovely property with fantastic views across vineyards to St Emilion. The staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful booking restaurant and taxis. Breakfast was 'top notch'. Would highly recommend.

Great boutique hotel with lovely personal service. We were actually booked in for 2 nights but only made it for 1 (stayed too long with friends). The hotel is absolutely fabulous - very cool, with lots of areas to sit and take in the view. The weather wasn’t great while we were there so we didn’t use the pool but our duplex room was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and served on our personal terrace …. Lovely!

Our stay at 5 Lasserre was a highlight of our recent trip to France. The location is outstanding for seeing the Bordeaux area and is just a few minutes away from St Emilion. The property itself has been completely renovated/extended to a very beautiful and modern standard and has wonderful views of the area, a gorgeous infinity pool, and relaxing common areas. It served as an oasis on our trip and we even enjoyed the one day it rained as we were able to just relax and enjoy the facilities. However, as wonderful as the property itself was, the top highlight of the stay had to be the owners and team that manage the property. Cristina, Solenna, Frederic, Suky and Babouche all contributed memorable moments to our stay. We enjoyed the evening aperitif and excellent conversation with Cristina and Frederic who gave us excellent recommendations on activities, booked dining reservations for us, etc. The breakfasts prepared by Solenna were delicious and something we looked forward to each morning to start our day. If you have the opportunity to stay here, I cannot recommend it highly enough. If we find ourselves in the southern part of France in the future we will certainly go out of our way to return.

We stayed for two nights at this B & B. It sits atop a hill overlooking the St. Emilion area with a beautiful view. Received a very warm welcome from the owner who made sure that we enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed wine and appetizers on the balcony of the home and chatted with other guests as well as the owner. The room was huge and new with beautiful furnishings. Totally modern and updated. The breakfast was excellent both days and served by a very friendly staff member who personally did the cooking. Would definitely recommend this to others who wish to be out of the city scene and in very quiet surroundings. This was a top-rated stay on our trip to France.

My husband and I stayed at 5 Lasserre for 3 nights during our trip to the wine country. The location of the property is wonderful. It is a perfect base for exploring surrounding area. it is close enough to the vineyards and Saint Emilion , but at the same time secluded. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous with roses and fruit trees. It was really nice to relax in the pool with the view of the surrounding hills after a hot day. We enjoyed breakfast on the private terrace . It was plentiful. Fresh fruit , yogurt parfait, fresh pastries, eggs and bacon prepared to order. Frederik and Cristina are the gracious hosts. They instantly made us feel welcome and took care of every little detail. Frederik booked wine tastings and restaurants for us. Both recommendations were wonderful. We had communal dinner with the other guests on one of the nights , really enjoyed the food and elegant presentation. Special thank you to Celine who took care of the delicious breakfast and kept it different every day. She gave us a little bon voyage package with water and snacks for the car. When we opened it there was a note in our native language. A really nice personal touch. Made us smile. We would love to come back. - Alex & Marina

5 Star wonderful renovated luxurious Château very close to Saint-Emilion with a few beautiful available ample rooms. The owners Christina and Frederic make you feel at home. Very private, tranquil with gorgeous views of the adjacent vineyards. A must if you’re lucky to book a room. Suggest a minimum stay of 3 nights to enjoy the area and also their delicious dinner. The breakfast was fabulous. The perfect place to stay to visit Bordeaux and Saint-Emilion.

We were fortunate enough to find this hidden gem. My wife and I stayed at 5 Lasserre 3 nights and really enjoyed the location, the view, the architecture, the pool, breakfasts and aperitif, our hosts Cristina and Frederic and everything else we found at 5 Lasserre. We think this maison will suit any curious and demanding traveler and cannot wait to get back!

Way off the beaten path, but that’s the point. The hotel only has a handful of rooms. Our room had two levels, including a full kitchen. The service is friendly and relaxed. In fact, they tell you up front they will leave you alone unless you want service. Our bed, bath, patio were all super comfortable. The view from the pool and patios is spectacular. We ate at the hotel one night (worth it!) and got a recommendation for a local restaurant another night (also fantastic).

We booked 5Lasserre at the end of a 2 week journey on our way back from North of Spain. After a roadtrip with 5 hotels, this was by far the best place to stay. Everything is fantastic : beds, breakfast, panoramic views, swimming pool, etc. We really had the best time of our live and enjoyed the attention of the hosting team wich took care of every small detail and request.
