We booked online. Knowing they are licensed, we still put in a request to bring a special bottle for our anniversary. No response that we couldn't. Happy if notified! Ambience lovely at the fire place to start our night with a glass of Rose and Chardonnay. Upon arrival, no champagne by the glass available, No pinot noir available, "supplier has not restocked". I only drink pinot noir. Surely, with all the lovely NSW wineries available, couldn't they just have 1 or 2 wines of pinot noir available? We had our own special bottle but weren't allowed to open it. We ordered King fish cudo and Haloumi as entrees. King fish not cured enough, haloumi was a thick slice, not marinated, slather of honey and herbs, was ok...Duck confit was lovely as was the beef rib. Condiments - ala french fries (WAY too much paprika, PLEASE, just keep it simple, no salt, no paprika...it over-rid the lovely confit duck and beef. Cauliflower gratin okay but, nothing to sing about. Staff were ok. We were asked after our main meals if we wish to order dessert, we said "yes". However, 1 menu was literally thrown at us at the table as though we had been difficult. Very disappointed. We didn't order and left. Being our 2nd visit here, and, we like to encourage local restaurants by supporting them, not sure if we will attend again.
