Apartamentos Igramar Morrojable - Only Adults

We had previously stayed in the eastern more touristy part of Morro Jable, but decided to stay in this older more residential part at the western end, where we noticed that there are plenty of bars and restaurants close together on the seafront. The location turned out to be ideal, particularly as this part of Morro Jable is unexpectedly sheltered from the island's strong winds. Given that the wind mostly comes from the north, the mountains to the north of this area provide some shelter, meaning that the beach is often usable without stone circles even when there are strong winds on the large rural beaches to the north-east. The Igramar is in a great location, overlooking many of the bars and restaurants. Parking was easy on most days, either in the dead-end street that runs along the north side of the establishment or sometimes a little further. The first channel on the large television was BBC World in HD quality, which was very welcome. The wifi was around 15Mbps in the room and around 50Mbps in common areas. There are plenty of power sockets in the room, including each side of the beds. Unfortunately the Igramar suffers from a common Spanish problem of two single beds being pushed together instead of a proper double bed. The shower is missing a door and a lip on the shower tray, which allows water to splash or overflow on to the bathroom floor. The fridge was intermittently noisy, and I expected the establishment to install a quieter fridge when there was no door between the bedroom and the kitchen. Igramar promised that “The apartments are designed to offer relax, comfort and privacy to guests” [sic]. On our final night, these features were not delivered whereby the room was uninhabitable because of an adjacent “Jandía Pride” event involving very loud open-air clubbing music until 3am. Because the room was uninhabitable, we lost almost an entire night’s sleep. Although Igramar had no control over the “Jandía Pride” event, Igramar remained liable to deliver the above promised features and it failed in the following ways: 1. Igramar knew, or ought to have known, at the time of booking that it would be unable to deliver the above features on the final night because of an external event, and therefore reasonably should have warned me at the time of booking, but it neglected to do so. 2. Igramar had no staff on site who could organise our move to a quieter room that did not face the source of the noise, and the telephone in the room did not work via which we tried to speak to Igramar staff to request this. So eventually we went outside at 2am and spoke to police who told us about the 3am end time. 3. Igramar failed to implement sufficient sound insultation in the room (17) to make it inhabitable and of satisfactory quality and it thereby failed to deliver the promise that “The apartments are designed to offer relax, comfort and privacy to guests”. Igramar neglected to respond to my subsequent complaint about these three failures, and I the

Two storey duplex apartments. A few steps from beach and bars/ restaurants. Pool area and sunbathing deck are great ... as are the apartments, 2 balconies, kettle, hob, fridge and toaster provided, spa supermarket up the hill but quite nearby. Lovely small adults only complex.

Wir hatten ein Duplex-Appartment mit 2 Balkonen , wobei der obere einen wunderschönen Meerblick hatte. Sämtliches Personal der Anlage super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben wunderbar geschlafen, die Betten sind hervorragend. Besonders zu erwähnen ist die überaus gründliche Reinigung der Zimmer. Alles super sauber, 5 mal die Woche wurde gereinigt, inklusive Handtuchwechsel. Liegen am Pool waren immer welche frei, absolute Ruhe innerhalb der Anlage. Nach genau 25 Stufen ist man am wunderschönen Strand, einfach nur traumhaft. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt und werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen. Die Lage des Igramar ist unschlagbar. Mittendrin, statt nur dabei. Wir lieben die Nähe zu den Einheimischen,super Restaurants und das Meer direkt vor der Tür, kurzum ein sehr, sehr gelungener Urlaub.

Das Appartement ist wirklich schön und ein Blick zum Meer, wenn er denn gegeben ist. Und das ist der Kritikpunkt der alles überschattet. Eine Baustelle direkt vor dem Balkon… ohne das es irgendwelche Hinweise gegeben hätte. Für den Preis ist das inakzeptabel. Der Service erfolgt an 5 Tagen die Woche und ist gut. Aber warum nur an 5 Tagen ist nicht nachvollziehbar. Zumal es keinen Hinweis darauf gibt, wo man den Müll entsorgen kann. ( z.B. wenn man Fisch brät oder eben kocht. Die Ausstattung ist ok und die Betten auch. Das morgendliche Bad im Meer entschädigt.

Die Apartmentanlage Igramar ist insgesamt eine sehr schöne Anlage, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber in einer ganz tollen Lage unmittelbar Strandnähe. Natürlich sind auch Restaurants in der Nähe, da die Anlage im Ort Morro Jable liegt. Die Restaurants werden morgens beliefert und in der Nähe sind die riesigen Müllcontainer, die nachts um 4:00 Uhr geleert werden! Das ist sehr laut. Aber es kam noch schlimmer!. Es gibt direkt gegenüber 50 m eine Baustelle auf der von 8:00 Uhr bis 18:00 Uhr gearbeitet wurde . Es werden Steine gefräst und es ist den ganzen Tag laut ,der Staub und die beim Steine. Fräsen anfallenden Fasern gelangten direkt herüber in unserer Apartment und auf unseren Ballon. Wir haben uns vor Ort beschwert, aber es war kein anderes Zimmer zur Poolseite hin verfügbar. Eigentlich hat es auch niemand so richtig interessiert… Schade. Man hätte uns im Vorwege darüber informieren müssen, dass es zu dieser Lärmbelästigung und Beeinträchtigung unserer Urlaubsfreude kommt.

Apartamentos muy recomendables. Limpieza, atención, amplios. Muy céntricos, a mano de los restaurantes, de la playa y del supermercado. Que sea only adults un plus de tranquilidad. La piscina correcta, pero genial para refrescarse después de la playa. Personal inmejorable, superatentos, desde las recepcionistas hasta los de la limpieza. Volveremos.
