This is the oldest hotel in Dake Island. It has been renovated and expanded many times in the middle. It is close to the city center and is one of the best hotels in the local area. Given the local environment, the facilities are definitely not very good compared to the domestic, but the volcanic island scenery is unique. Also, the locals are very gentle and policing is completely without problems. There is free Wi-Fi, normal is OK, you can watch domestic videos at night, but it will be slower when there are many people. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste need to be brought by yourself. There are shampoo, body lotion and moisturizer.

We were taken to ”Jardin de la Paix”by a driver we had hired for the day to take us on a tour of the island. Sayad, our driver highly recommended that we stop to dine here. It was the best meal we had on the island! The setting was tranquil, set in a private garden courtyard keeping out the sounds of the busy city. It was like a hidden oasis. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the service was exception. We had lovely fresh salads to start and then the freshest fish served with local vegetables, accompanied by a lovely French wine and finished off sharing a Tiramisu (could have been in Italy!) with the best espresso coffee we had the whole time we were there. Excellent! I highly recommend it!
