Maja Hotel Boutique

We stayed at Maja Hotel Boutique last week and it was our first trip ever to Morelia. This hotel blew us away! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and immaculately landscaped with green lawns, flowers and fruit trees. Everywhere you look is beauty! The rooms are so cozy and comfortable, we slept so well each night. The food is AMAZING! We couldn't believe how incredible the menu choices were and the food was just outstanding! I wish I could eat there everyday of my life! The staff at Maja are also so kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back again!

This is my favorite hotel I've ever stayed at. I can't wait to go back. I was having stomach issues the first day and the staff made me a special tea and soup to help me feel better. The entire staff was so friendly. It felt like I was staying with family. We went during the holidays and it felt super cozy. The food is outstanding. The best hotel food I've ever had...Some of the best meals I've ever had. The restaurant wait staff were so incredible. Our room was beautiful and super comfortable. We also received wonderful massages. The staff helped us organize our covid test which was super helpful. Also, I love where the hotel is located. The last time we went to Morelia we stayed in town but this time we wanted to try something different. It's situated on a hill and looks out to the Centro. It's super easy to get downtown. I can't say enough good things about Maja. My husband and I LOVED it.

Imagine staying in your dream vacation home with enough staff to meet all your dining, spa, and relaxation need's met..... Well, that is Maja. The property is discrete, comfortable, cozy, intimate, accommodating, and with a view to die for... Just an example, my wife wanted to change the cheese on one of their delicious salads, the waiter have the chef come over to our table and discuss with my wife what cheese would go better with that specific type of salad. Just the perfect ploce stay there forever...

Este hotel arruinó lo que debería haber sido un momento inolvidable: nuestra boda. Lo visitamos en Abril 2024 para tener la planeación de nuestra boda lista con meses de anticipación hablamos con el gerente de el hotel Alan sobre lo que íbamos a necesitar por mas de una hora, incluso insistío bastante en hacer el evento ahi mismo. Cuando regresamos en Noviembre, no tenían nuestra reservación lista, otros huéspedes estaban agendados para la habitación con terraza que habíamos elegido en especifico meses atrás, y de principio nos quisieron asignar una habitación como cualquier otra que pudimos haber reservado en cualquier otro hotel de la ciudad. Nos hicieron esperar bastante mientras “buscaban una solución”, Ademas uno comentarios de parte de Alan como; “ya dales el cuarto no quiero lidiar con ellos” lo cual ya puso un mal sabor a nuestra llegada.   Habíamos reservado también con Alan un espacio en la terraza para una sesión de fotos para nuestra boda, algo que habíamos planificado con meses de anticipación. El nunca le aviso a la chica de eventos de nuestra session de fotos entonces ella no sabia lo que estaba pasando y cuando llegó el momento, nos informaron que el lugar estaba reservado para otro evento.  Fue una total falta de respeto hacia nosotros y arruinó parte de nuestro día especial ya que faltando dos dias para la boda tuvimos que buscar otro lugar en donde hacer la sesión de fotos.   Intentamos hablar con el gerente, Alan, para expresar nuestras preocupaciones, pero su actitud fue increíblemente grosera, defensiva y prepotente. En lugar de escuchar, nos interrumpió repetidamente, restándole importancia a nuestras quejas y prácticamente culpándonos por los problemas. Nosotros habríamos hablado con el en persona cuando reservamos en Abril y su respuesta a nosotros fue un simple “Ni me acuerdo de ustedes”. Y al final se encerró en su oficina y dejo a las chicas de recepción y de eventos sin apoyo. Cabe mencionar que por no tener el espacio disponible para la sesión de fotos y la actitud de Alan hacia nosotros en ese momento no queríamos saber nada de el hotel y no nos íbamos a hospedar ahi, el ambiente se volvió muy hostil con el personal queriendo cobrarnos el hospedaje con el argumento que “tuvimos que rechazar a mucha gente por su reservación” siendo que nunca nos respetaron nuestra reservación que hicimos en Abril. Al negarnos a pagar esto nos amenazaron con no podernos ir hasta no liquidar esa cantidad e incluso llamar a personal de mantenimiento par intimidarnos y argumentar que se tenia que pagar a como diera lugar.   Este hotel no solo arruinó nuestra experiencia como huéspedes, sino que también impactó negativamente en un día muy importante para nosotros. Ese mismo día decidimos irnos a otro hotel ya que no queríamos mas malos tratos el fin de semana de nuestra boda. No lo recomendaría bajo ninguna circunstancia, y espero que otros no pasen por lo mismo.

El hotel hermoso! Llegamos como a las 21:30 y nos recibieron con un cóctel. La habitación limpia, muy seguras todas las áreas, la atención muy amable, las instalaciones súper lindas, el agua de la alberca tibia. El desayuno rico, aunque tardaron un poco en servir.

Excelente el lugar, la atención, la comida, todo muy agradable, la cama deliciosa y muy amplio el cuarto, de buen gusto y muy limpio, cada detalle, hace que tengas un excelente descanso y experiencia.
