My wife and I arrived here on the 11th of May. First impressions were of a lovely hotel, the staff, the buildings, the grounds, everything was what you would expect. Our room was comfortable, we had a superior twin sea view room. To be honest it was basic and dated, it had a hairdryer, Kettle, fridge, and a free to use safe, free aircon and a balcony with 2 chairs and a table. It had a shower with a curtain? and the vent in the bathroom floor would explode with foam when showering! Location: Isolated! Not much to see locally. The food: Repetitive. Breakfast was usually 4 types of eggs, Scrambled, Fried, Boiled and omelette, all were drowned in olive oil. Fatty bacon, baked beans and chips. Lunch was not much better. Fatty pork, lamb scraps, beef which turned out to be beef liver, more chips, dry rice, roast potatoes drenched in olive oil. Dinner was a combination of the above, no real imagination! The only saving grace for the food was the desserts. Absolutely delicious! Sponges, Strudles, Greek yoghurts, fruits, jelly, honey, ice cream. Toilets: None of the male toilets at either the main or beach bars had locks on the doors. If you want privacy you need to use the ones in the TV lounge, this is opposite the main reception, and is also near where you can store your luggage on your final day. Entertainment: We couldn't fault the animation team, they worked extremely long hours. Early evening the children had the stage, then after 9:30 it was the adults turn. Karaoke of course, a Greek night, and the star of the week was the Bingo night, don't be fooled, it's the best night of the week. On our final day we asked how much to keep our room until our pick up. We had to be out by 11am, but we could keep our room until .... 1pm = 30 euros, 4pm = 40 euros or 6pm = 50 euros! ... we declined! I could say a lot more but this review is long enough. Needless to say we won't be returning!
