Stayed in a 10-bed dorm at M Montreal for the F1 race. So my experience during an incredibly busy weekend might not be the norm. Overall, I had a good stay. Details below. The Good: - Location. It's really fantastic from the airport, to the race track (for me), buses, metro and a Bixi bike station half a block away - Grocery store and pharmacy half a block away too, so convenient. - Kitchen in-house is large and well stocked. But fridge and shelf space is tight so FYI there. - Workroom for remote staff is large but not super equipped as a workspace with outlets. But a nice space and quieter than the kitchen - My dorm was a private room converted into a dorm so we had a bathroom in the room and small kitchen (but with no supplies). Having the sink and fridge was really helpful while staying there. - Privacy curtains and plugs in the bed are great and the locker below is large and works for most bags and extras. - Wifi was solid the entire time, even when doing video and audio calls. Stronger in some parts than others but still good. Items to be aware of: - Neighborhood. It's fine but not great. Lots of unsheltered and unsheltered with mental health issues on the street at all hours screaming and making noise. Police presence around there was constant while I was staying. - Courtyard noise. On weekends it can get loud in that courtyard at all hours. - The mattresses are better than I expected based on other reviews, but they are not great. After 7 days my back was absolutely killing me. I truly don't get why they don't have something with better support but if you're staying for 2-3 days, you're good, longer, be aware. Overall, I would stay again but not for a long visit. The mattresses are that awful. There were still a lot of good points of the hostel though so I would recommend it to others. - Water pressure in shower is awful, but functional.

This time on a long business trip, I chose this hotel in order to be able to cook. It was really good value. The cleaners were responsible and the kitchen was full of kitchen utensils. Front desk attitude was good!

Very cost-effective, located in the heart of downtown, convenient for subway, easy to walk, friendly service, unique experience of prison building. I will stay here again. Nice experience in jail hostel Ottawa and nice memories in Canada.

I usually don't write good reviews, but because of its value for money, I feel I must write about this hotel. For a relatively developed city like Mandikeng, the hotel only costs 100 knives (excluding tax). I don’t seem to have found anything so cheap near this hotel. But it's cheap, and the service, environment and location are not bad. In terms of service, if you speak English at the front desk, you will not be discriminated against and are very welcoming. The decoration of the room environment may be a bit old, but it is definitely clean and hygienic and does not affect use. The room is large and equipped with a fully functional kitchen and tableware. The soundproofing of the room was also very good, at least I didn't hear anything from other rooms at any time. The location is right in the city center, very close to attractions and Chinatown, and most attractions are within walking distance. Disadvantages: There is a fee for parking, which is 35 dollars per day (likely). At that time, I didn’t know if one of the elevators was broken. When there was only one elevator, I often had to wait for a long time.

The plane was late, the staff was late, and the staff had already got off work, but he had self-check-in and check-out at the front desk, which was very convenient, but because the check-in time was late, he needed to call the customer service to apply for the deposit deduction, because he would not speak English and French. A quaint quality inn in centre ville Montreal,outside is deceiving,interior is neat clean tidy somewhat small room,BUT it suits the locale,greeted by Larissa a very outgoing helpful.desk person, who explained a lot about the hotel,the surrounding area, ,and the parking..(there isn’t any) we were directed by Larissa as to the access to parking which is a good thing,,but the logistics of entry and exit is exasperating,,entry was ok,picked up a ticket,found a spot,,then tried to exit the building,to no avail,after wandering around found a red door that looked like we could get out,.,at this point don’t know how we are going to get the car out because there is no means of human contact or available access unless you wait for a vehicle to enter..Larissa went out of her way to order a cab for the morning ride to cruise terminal,we were going to use the metro,but she advised against it

I was visiting a family for a few days and they put us up here. Ok, the location is very good: wonderful restaurants, lots of shops, etc., in the area. I lived in Montreal for 15 years, so when I visit now I'd probably prefer a quieter place less interested in selling us all on Montreal's uniqueness. Been there, done that. If you want a nice, romantic, stay at a Bed and Breakfast in the heart of a very interesting area of Montreal, this is it. Our host wasn't annoying, in fact he was helpful. The rooms had character and were clear and quiet. We also shared a bathroom with an adjoining room, which was fine. The breakfast was well-prepared (although I only had eggs and a bit of yogurt. Even so, there were better choices). If you stay in Montreal for more than say 3 nights, then I'd go elsewhere. The charm of this place is real, but probably fleeting over the long-term.

Nice hotel, good for family with kids, clean, room is big, friendly staff members, great location, breakfast is great. Highly recommend.

The Comfort Suites Downtown is an affordable hotel near the train station. The hotel staff are very kind and helpful when asking for directions to tourist destinations and transit. The hotel itself could do with some updating. It's very dated. The room was large and had everything that we needed. The gym was tiny with just 2 pieces of equipment. There is NO swimming pool . They had a nice breakfast to get you fueled for the day ahead. The area around the hotel isn't very clean or safe.
