good service, the owner prepared a lot of tips for tourists like where to go, train timetable, guide to restaurants
location is ok, 10mins walk from train station but a bit up hill

The room was small (as described) but large enough. Room for all the necessities and even a desk/dining area. Great to have a clothesline. Extensive info from host Andrea on the area: restaurants, train and bus schedules, walks ... and so caring. Really above and beyond.

Although the room is small, there is a small patio to sit and enjoy morning coffee or an afternoon drink. Many tv channels, albeit Italian only and the the tv is very small.
The staff are excellent, helping on arrival and for any questions you might have.
It’s near the top of a hill, about 200m from the main square/ocean. There are many restaurants and shops en route. The owner provides QR codes for everything you need (food, travel, etc).

The owner was extremely helpful and friendly with wonderful recommendations and map of the town. All staff were lovely always making the effort to greet us when coming and going from the property. Make sure you coordinate a check in time prior to arrival for a smooth check in and friendly greeting. Overall amazing experience would definitely stay again!

Visited in May 2023. Very friendly staff and comfortable accommodations. Owner Andrea greeted us and gave us a very helpful introduction to the hotel and to the vicinity. Gave us his personal phone number in case we needed anything. Rooms are kept very clean and neat, very simple and practical. Other hotel guests and residents of the building were quiet and friendly. Short walk down Via Roma street to old town, grocery store, restaurants, beach, etc. Would definitely stay again if returning to Monterosso.

Andrea (host) is super friendly and attentive to all your needs. Located in a quiet section of Old Town portion of Monterosso Short walk to some great restaurants, shopping, coffee, rolls, etc 15 minute walk to the train station; mostly flat; a bit uphill as you approach the hotel

And the shower door needed some repair, he was quick to exchange a refrigerator that was not working and to help us in any way he could. Top-notch hospitality!

Did you ever meet someone and realize that they are perfect for the job they are in? Andrea is easily the nicest and most helpful owner / GM at any place I have ever stayed. The rooms are on the small side, and there are steps, but it is in a great location and very easy to day trip out of there to anywhere. And honestly, if steps are an issue for you you aren't going to have much fun in Cinque Terre anyhow.
