Outstanding friendly and helpful staff. We asked all sorts of questions and the staff was Amazing. Breakfast buffet was available everyday and even available to go if requested. We seem to interact with Rachele at the front desk a lot and she and staff helped us throughout our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Margarita. We found d our room clean and incredibly spacious (family room, traveling with our teen). The terrace was the perfect place to sip coffee in the morning overlooking the village waking up. At night the sounds of the frogs in the distance made us feel so relaxed (and to add to the magic- we saw fireworks from the terrace). Location was perfect base to explore the area (or just walk to the beach and lounge). Front staff were amazing and even put together a “to go” breakfast for us when we had to catch an early train. 5 star experience! Love this place!

We were four friends staying for three nights. The booking of the hotel and the information given prior to arriving was very good. The location in the old part of town was perfect. It took us about ten minutes to walk from the train station with our suitcases. We aimed to get there before 10pm as they charge for later check ins. The hotel is clean and decorated nicely. The rooms are comfortable with great (very firm) beds. The street outside is pedestrian although some service vehicles do come through at night. A pair of air plugs come in handy! Air condition is not turned on before June and we found we needed to keep the window open at night. Breakfast was all we could possibly need. We took ours outside as there are several comfortable sitting groups just outside the doors. There are plenty of bars and restaurants up and down the street. Absolutely no shortage of gorgeous food and drink, but reservations turned out to be a good thing as it’s very busy. And this was before high season!! The staff at the hotel were all super nice and courteous. We were met with smiles and helpful ideas every time we asked about something. We would not hesitate to book this place again The photo is the view from our room onto the street in front of the hotel.

6 ladies over 40 stayed here in 2 rooms for 4 nights. This is a very nice hotel for only 3🌟. Rooms are clean, new towels when needed, they provide beach towels. Staff so friendly and helpfull. Good breakfast. Hotel are located perfectly in Monterosso town. Only minutes from everything.. We could not be more satisfied.

We adored this family-owned and operated hotel! It is so clean, beautifully decorated, and best of all, the English speaking owners treat you as if you’re an actual guest in their home! The location is PERFECT if you don’t want a busy, noisy tourist trap. The views are some of the best I’ve ever seen. The breakfast which is included in the room price is delicious, fresh and hot every morning. The shuttle is so helpful and saves you time and money if you’re wanting a ride to close by attractions such as the beach. 5 stars all around - would highly recommend!! Oh, and the pool is amazing too!

Visited Cinque Terre for a few days and stayed here for both nights. The weather was great and the place is awesome; Hotel Margherita exceeded my expectations. We flew in to Venice and drove our way to Cinque Terre, so we got there in the afternoon. Our check in was fast and easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable. We were all pleased with the accommodations. The location was great, since parking was right up the road a few hundred meters away. The turnaround for large vehicles is closer, but we didn’t have to drive up, we parked and hauled our luggage to the hotel. Everything was and went pretty well, until we had to check out. I don’t know if I was the only one who had a bad experience but I do need to mention it. The young lady at the front desk was rude and did not show us the courtesy we were greeted with at check in. It could be she was having a bad day but I can assure it wasn’t my fault. Regardless, I do highly recommend Hotel Margherita for anyone who is traveling to the area. It could have been an isolated incident.

Lovely accommodations, with extra pillows, hot shower, comfortably sized room, openable windows with privacy, and a common outdoor terrace for relaxing with a drink. Easy approach on the main drag. Nice breakfast. It was the first comfortable hotel we'd stayed in since our trip began in Venice. The staff was very attentive as well, however, I wish they would have been a bit more accommodating generally, but especially since this was almost off-season and the hotel was fairly empty. For example, we wanted to take a couple of glasses to our room, but they would only give us tiny, tiny plastic cups which were not useful. While a couple of staff were fine with us taking a bucket of ice to our room, one staff person, who seemed unhappy with her job, was adamant that we could only do so if we purchased a bottle of wine, because "if I took that bucket, there might not be enough for those actually buying a bottle of wine from the hotel", which was unlikely, given the vacancy. Overall, we were happy, but given the season, I think some staff could have eased up.
