Red Roof Inn Dumfries - Quantico

Khalid was amazing! We wanted to extend our stay, and he helped us navigate the website to get the best rate, and made sure we had everything we needed. I was very stressed with the holidays and a sick child and he was patient, kind and very accommodating. The entire staff has been wonderful. Highly recommend

I’m going to start this by saying, take the time to look at who the contributors are for the positive reviews for this motel. The majority of them (but not all) have either only reviewed this ONE place OR have reviewed 2 places but when you click on their profile and look under their reviews, there are no other reviews. This was the worst hotel stay we’ve had. We couldn’t believe this was a Red Roof Inn when we pulled up. It was a dump. We tried to keep an open mind when we went up to the room. Unfortunately, the entire room smelled horrible. I tried airing it out by opening the door to the outside, which actually made it worse and we realized it was cat urine. I looked around and there were streams of cat urine stains on the wall facing the outside balcony. Who leaves a room like that when they clean it? We called downstairs to speak with who we think was the owner and asked for another room, which he agreed to. I asked him which room number so I could start moving our stuff to the door while my husband went to get the key. He was rude and told me he wasn’t telling me the room number until my husband came downstairs. What the heck am I going to do to it? It’s locked!! The new room didn’t smell like cat urine but there were stains on the bedspreads, carpets, etc which was nothing compared to the mold on the bathroom ceiling and in the shower. Both the shower head and the shower handle were beginning to fall out of the wall and I actually had to put the shower handle back in the wall after I shut it off. With the exception of the sink, the bathroom was just as bad as some gas station bathrooms I’ve been in. And, with terrible water pressure to boot. When you pay $60 for a hotel room, you keep your expectations low but you should at least get a clean room/bed/bathroom and a good shower. Shame on you Red Roof Inn.

Mr. Khalid at the front desk was very helpful and courteous. Everytime I had a question or concern he would handle it, with no problem. I’ve seen him handle other customers and he treats everybody with respect and answers all questions. Will be staying here in the future, thanks to his courteousness and knowing of the business. My stay has been excellent the rooms are clean and the grounds are nicely kept. I have a dog, so walking areas are important. The staff are super friendly, especially Khalid at the front desk. He is the best! So helpful and friendly 😀 They’ve made my stay so much comfortable. Absolutely recommend!

Front desk manager Mohammed was awesome and saved us a first floor room. Mattress was very comfortable, room spacious and very clean, as was the bathroom. Lots of room to walk my dog and it was the cleanest site I've ever seen, no garbage anywhere! There was no pet fee! You cannot drive around this building so it was a little tough with a trailer, just be aware of that before parking. We should have parked on the side. Waffle house and Cracker Barrel in walking distance.

Red Roof Inn exceeded my wildest expectations. I didn't expect to get such a beautiful room for what I was paying. Everything was clean and fresh. The bed is very comfortable. The location is great, close to all the restaurants and shops. I got awesome service from Khalid the manager. He goes out of his way to assist you in anything you need. In fact the entire staff is terrific.

Khalid is the BEST!! Super friendly and helpful with any and all questions and concerns. During our stay there he always had fresh coffee available in the lobby waiting for us. As well as making sure that our booking date was fixed in time when we scheduled the incorrect dates. Housekeeping staff were very polite, respectful and kept our linens fresh and changed regularly. As well as making sure our trash was taken out daily as well. Thanks again for all the helpful employees and staff at The Red Roof Inn in Dumfries, VA.

Needed a place to rest from a cross country drive. I showed up with a small dog and without a reservation. Khalid was extremely courteous, helpful, friendly and professional. The room was clean and spacious. I'll stay at Red Roof Inn again in the future.
