Nuremore Hotel & Country Club

I have been having the worst experience with Nuremore. I bought vouchers for my Mother and Father as a Christmas present. Recently I have been trying to book in but the hotel is inexplicably close. There was no prior mention. Both my mother and father are profoundly deaf and so I usually handle bookings etc on their behalf. I am glad they are not having to go through this process as the response (in the odd times I get one) are rude and abrupt. I have asked for a refund but this supposedly cannot be done. The idea was to get them booked in for their anniversary but I would hate to send them to this hell hole and would just like my money back. They have gone down the route of just ignoring me now. Terrible terrible customer service.

Was recommended by a friend whom has family in Carrickmacross: stayed for a few days on business in the local area, service was great at check-in and the barman was on-the-ball, food was prepared quickly and was excellent quality; I had the steak, steak sandwich and also garlic bread during my stay. The room was large and I appreciated the quality furniture, bed was comfy and the room was nice and warm considering the freezing conditions at the time. I will certainly stay again when I am next in the area.

Lovely hotel. My room was huge .... I couldn't figure out how to turn on the lights in the room ... but this was probably me being a techno dummy ... LOL I ate in the restaurant ... had a starter Chicken and mushroom vol au vent - it was delicious ... & generous enough to do me for dinner ! Also enjoyed a swim in the pool.

Only one disabled parking space is totally unacceptable. Breakfast was poor. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay but would probably not return. Our room was good and food in the bar was very good and the hotel is situated in a very nice location

The staff here are so warm and friendly. We will definitely be coming back. The location is great. Nothing was too much trouble. The leisure facilities are very good. Lovely pool, exactly right depth and temperature xx

The hotel is in a lovely location and the staff were really friendly. Breakfast was very good and having a pool facilities and golf course a plus. The rooms however were not overly comfortable with no water in the rooms. Decor could do with an update.

Stayed mid July with my two golfing sons. This is the third time back and wont be the last. Check in was slightly complicated as the room was two have three single beds but it had a double and a single, however Elouise at reception quickly sorted this and moved us to a more suitable room (great service). The golf again got off to a bad start with only nine holes open on the first day, however the club pro (Bobby) went out of his way to make sure we had an enjoyable experience playing three rounds on what I would describe as a challenging but fair course. (Thanks Bobby). The room we had was lovely and clean, and beds nice and comfortable. The food was really good, we had steaks on two nights and they were cooked to perfection. The bar staff were also really good, and a special mention to Emma who was exceptional. Overall a very enjoyable stay, looking forward to our next visit.

We recently celebrated our daughters (Gráinne and Shane’s )memorable wedding in the Nuremore hotel . I would like to congratulate and thank the management and staff that work in all sections of this local hotel . The staff were so friendly and professional in each of their respective roles, their efficient service of the food during the wedding was appreciated .The quality and taste of the wedding meal was enjoyed , empty plates were returned after each course ! Compliments to the cooks and staff.There are many employees who all together as a team work to run a successful wedding day . Take a bow each and everyone of ye .Your team work created for our family wedding a most enjoyable day that we will always remember with fondest of memories . Thank you all.
