What can I say about Modica Boutique Hotel? I LOVED IT! LOCATION: GREAT! Easy to find, surrounded by many shops and restaurants. PARKING: Free Parking in a lock-up garage; private and very safe, with lift connected straight to Hotel. ROOM (Superior): Spacious, Modern, Very clean, Very comfy bed, Cozy linen, State of the art Shower, Relaxation at it's best! BREAKFAST: Spoiled for choice, everything fresh and delicious. Buffet Breakfast 'a la grande'! WATER MACHINE ON EACH FLOOR: Empty bottles provided for free cold or room temperature Natural and Sparkling Water HOTEL RESTAURANT: We had one dinner. Limited choice, however the food was cooked to perfect, presented well and we loved it. Very reasonably priced. STAFF: Polite, courteous, professional, and always with a smile. I highly recommend Modica Boutique Hotel, especially for those travelling with their car by ferry to Pozzallo, as it is only 20min drive. You will not regret it. Modica Boutique Hotel is classified as a 4-star, but for me, it beats a 5-star hotel, by far! THANK YOU MODICA BOUTIQUE HOTEL FOR MAKING OUR STAY SO WONDERFUL!

A beautiful setting, isolated and quiet, with a lovely pool area. We stayed in a suite that was very roomy, with a large double bedroom and a smaller single room upstairs. Downstairs had a small kitchen corner (which we didn't use other than the refrigerator) as well as a dining table and chairs and a comfortable sofa. Sky TV with all the sports channels (in Italian, obviously) was a nice surprise and came in useful as we weren't lucky with the weather. There are no other restaurants within walking distance - it's a 15 minute drive into Modica - so we ate at the restaurant every night for a week. This was not a problem as everything we ate was DELICIOUS. Enough variation on the menu to eat something different every night if you wanted to, but the dishes we had early on were so good we had them all twice. The best pinsas I've ever tasted - a world away from 'pizza' in the UK. Very reasonable prices as well, including wine. We only spent one day by the pool (because of the weather!) but it looked as though there would be plenty of sunbeds available even if all the guests decided to visit. Most importantly, all the hotel and restaurant staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which really made the stay as good as it could be.

We recently spent 10 days at Modica Palace Hotel. Everyone from the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and restaurant staff were wonderful. All were friendly and helpful. The pool area is very nice and peaceful. We booked a superior room which was quiet and comfortable. We'd definitely consider staying here again should we find ourselves in Modica. Notes: The shuttle is no longer available. You definitely need a car or you'll be booking taxis. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant didn't appear to be open for dinner or was only open for groups so we never tried to eat there. Some of the pool furniture was in need of repair or replacement. It is the end of the season.. All in all it was a very good experience.

Hotel is in a great location in town although the walk back up the steps from the main street is a challenge after dinner; there was a longer walk without the steps. The Hotel promotes its art credentials so is a little different but not in a negative way. Room (102 I think but called the Blue Room) was a reasonable size (good for Europe), clean, new and colourful with a great balcony view over the town. The bed was comfortable. Two complaints however, were the hi-tech power / light panel that required some getting used to and the shower that leaked onto the bathroom floor due to poor design / finish. Otherwise the bathroom was fine. Wi fi was included and good and the breakfast was in a nice space with a good choice. There was a lift from reception to upper floors but stairs from the street to reception - no problem except for those in a wheel chair or the like. Staff was helpful when available but reception was often empty - seems staff number did not match demand?

Stayed here for couple of nights during a recent visit to Sicily. Location was perfect, about 10 min walk from bus drop off & just behind the main road of the old town. The owners were friendly & helpful. We had couple of problems accessing our key box & they turned up within 10 mins to help. Access codes to get into the property had been sent within minutes after we had confirmed our reservation online - a day before we had arrived in Sicily. Cleanliness - property was clean, rooms were clean & modern. Decor & furniture too. Price was reasonable considering location & facilities. Communal kitchen with free coffee & tea was a welcome added bonus! All in all, very happy and would: 1. Definitely recommend it. 2. Stay here again.

During our tour to Sicilia, stayed in this Palazzo for two nights, and if you stand before the green gate, you wouldn't expect that there is another building with patio. We were very friendly received and also told about the history of the Palazzo. Very nice story, and it gives something extra. the palazzo is already 4 generations family property that are barons. Now the grandson runs the B&B the grandparents live on the equal floor. We had the suite room, Baronessa, with view of the Duomo. A very beautiful spacious room, beautiful ceiling, authentic furniture. Also the breakfast room authentic. It has all its charm and gives a certain atmosphere. On the other hand, you pay some kind of comfort that we are normal in the present times. All was cracked, cared. Breakfast was just good, a small buffet. For us, it was possible to have been a little more / larger, but we didn't leave with hunger. Nic to stay there once, but 2 nights was enough. Qua location, in the middle of the city center of Modica with a lot of free parking for the door. Perfect base to visit the side of Sicilia.

Access codes to get into the property had been sent within minutes after we had confirmed our reservation online - a day before we had arrived in Sicily. Cleanliness - property was clean, rooms were clean & modern. Decor & furniture too. Price was reasonable considering location & facilities. Communal kitchen with free coffee & tea was a welcome added bonus! All in all, very happy and would: 1. Definitely recommend it. 2. Stay here again.

What can I say about Modica Boutique Hotel? I LOVED IT! LOCATION: GREAT! Easy to find, surrounded by many shops and restaurants. PARKING: Free Parking in a lock-up garage; private and very safe, with lift connected straight to Hotel. ROOM (Superior): Spacious, Modern, Very clean, Very comfy bed, Cozy linen, State of the art Shower, Relaxation at it's best! BREAKFAST: Spoiled for choice, everything fresh and delicious. Buffet Breakfast 'a la grande'! WATER MACHINE ON EACH FLOOR: Empty bottles provided for free cold or room temperature Natural and Sparkling Water HOTEL RESTAURANT: We had one dinner. Limited choice, however the food was cooked to perfect, presented well and we loved it. Very reasonably priced. STAFF: Polite, courteous, professional, and always with a smile. I highly recommend Modica Boutique Hotel, especially for those travelling with their car by ferry to Pozzallo, as it is only 20min drive. You will not regret it. Modica Boutique Hotel is classified as a 4-star, but for me, it beats a 5-star hotel, by far! THANK YOU MODICA BOUTIQUE HOTEL FOR MAKING OUR STAY SO WONDERFUL!

A beautiful setting, isolated and quiet, with a lovely pool area. We stayed in a suite that was very roomy, with a large double bedroom and a smaller single room upstairs. Downstairs had a small kitchen corner (which we didn't use other than the refrigerator) as well as a dining table and chairs and a comfortable sofa. Sky TV with all the sports channels (in Italian, obviously) was a nice surprise and came in useful as we weren't lucky with the weather. There are no other restaurants within walking distance - it's a 15 minute drive into Modica - so we ate at the restaurant every night for a week. This was not a problem as everything we ate was DELICIOUS. Enough variation on the menu to eat something different every night if you wanted to, but the dishes we had early on were so good we had them all twice. The best pinsas I've ever tasted - a world away from 'pizza' in the UK. Very reasonable prices as well, including wine. We only spent one day by the pool (because of the weather!) but it looked as though there would be plenty of sunbeds available even if all the guests decided to visit. Most importantly, all the hotel and restaurant staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which really made the stay as good as it could be.

Stayed here for couple of nights during a recent visit to Sicily. Location was perfect, about 10 min walk from bus drop off & just behind the main road of the old town. The owners were friendly & helpful. We had couple of problems accessing our key box & they turned up within 10 mins to help. Access codes to get into the property had been sent within minutes after we had confirmed our reservation online - a day before we had arrived in Sicily. Cleanliness - property was clean, rooms were clean & modern. Decor & furniture too. Price was reasonable considering location & facilities. Communal kitchen with free coffee & tea was a welcome added bonus! All in all, very happy and would: 1. Definitely recommend it. 2. Stay here again.

Abbiamo aderito ad una delle proposte che ci sono state offerte e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La SPA molto bella e curata nei dettagli. Il percorso benessere composto da: Bio Sauna, Docce Emozionali ,Sauna alle Erbe, Bagno Turco ,Sauna Finlandese,Idromassaggio,Piscina Cromo-Terapica, Cascata di Ghiaccio, Angolo Tisaneria e Zone Relax. A completare il tutto un trattamento Lissage Corpo rigenerante. Il personale molto qualificato e gentile. Esperienza da ripetere al più presto.

During our tour to Sicilia, stayed in this Palazzo for two nights, and if you stand before the green gate, you wouldn't expect that there is another building with patio. We were very friendly received and also told about the history of the Palazzo. Very nice story, and it gives something extra. the palazzo is already 4 generations family property that are barons. Now the grandson runs the B&B the grandparents live on the equal floor. We had the suite room, Baronessa, with view of the Duomo. A very beautiful spacious room, beautiful ceiling, authentic furniture. Also the breakfast room authentic. It has all its charm and gives a certain atmosphere. On the other hand, you pay some kind of comfort that we are normal in the present times. All was cracked, cared. Breakfast was just good, a small buffet. For us, it was possible to have been a little more / larger, but we didn't leave with hunger. Nic to stay there once, but 2 nights was enough. Qua location, in the middle of the city center of Modica with a lot of free parking for the door. Perfect base to visit the side of Sicilia.
