La Bella Modena Centro

Esta é uma bela propriedade a poucos passos do centro histórico de Modena, a dois quarteirões da galeria Museu Estense e a uma curta caminhada da estação ferroviária. Belíssima propriedade histórica renovada com muito bom gosto. Lindo banheiro luxuoso, check-in fácil, estacionamento gratuito se você tiver um carro e o anfitrião mais útil. Eu gostei muito do sono nesta casa tranquila e conveniente longe de casa

We stayed 2 nights. The room was lovely and the location was great. We encountered a few small problems. The hot water was hot for 30 seconds, then went lukewarm. The mini fridge in the room makes all sorts of weird noises - all night. Our biggest problem was actually other inconsiderate guests. Because it’s a self check-in hotel, we had guests checking in after midnight both nights. Banging their cases up and down the stairs loudly and talking loudly. It disrupted our sleep terribly.

Perfect get away close to main area. Safe, easy walking, excellent staff and lovely accommodations! I highly recommend this place in Modena!

The staff was very helpful. The room was beautiful, clean and nice bathrooms and the location had easy access to the interesting stops in Modena.

This property is immaculate. Everything is like brand new, modern and super clean. Very happy we booked.

Everything was great! Good communication too! Be patient if you speak english. But not a complaint.

A beautiful place to stay. The Bella Modena is chic and upscale. The decor is both classic and modern. Your room will be nicely appointed and spotlessly clean. The ceiling frescoes are original and stunning. We didn't think there was a closet. We pushed a random handle. Voila'. A nice size closet that you can hideaway for extra space during the day. The location is on a quiet street just a block or two away from the central Modena crowds. If you have a car you'll be happy with the secure private parking lot. Take the tour of the onsite Balsamic vinegar factory. It's famiy owned, definitely authentic, and sold at the hotel. There is a little common area with espresso and teas available. The rooms have a cute little refigeration contraption big enough for a couple water bottles. I highly recommend the Bella Modena.

We stayed for two nights at La Bella Modena Centro in early April. The hotel was fairly easy to find with Google Maps, and I made arrangements in advance to secure one of the parking spaces for our rental car. The hotel isn't staffed for most of the day (I believe there is something at the small desk for 2 hours or so each day), but the instructions for self-checkin were very clear and easy to follow. The building is very lovely and well maintained, and the room was also very modern and clean. The room wasn't that large but it fit us and our one large suitcase comfortably enough. If you had more than 2 suitcases, you might struggle to find room for everything. There isn't an elevator in the hotel, and none of the rooms are at the entry-level. So if mobility is an issue for you, this may not be the best place. It wasn't a problem for us, though. The location of the hotel was perfect: it was just a few minutes walk to get into the old center of Modena, but outside of the touristy area so you didn't hear foot-traffic at night.

Great central location, easy to reach from Bologna airport (c. 1.5 hours from leaving airport via Bologna airport shuttle monorail, Bolognia-Modena train, then 20 minute walk - can obviously be faster if using some taxis). Close to most central Modena locations - 5 minutes' walk to bars, cafes and restaurants, 5/10 minutes to Duomo and the Gallerie Estense, 20 minutes to Modena train station where you can get connections to Bologna, Parma and so on, 25 minutes' walk to the Enzo Ferrari museum. Easy check-in using the instructions sent in advance via email. There is a small private car park (but we didn't use it). Lovely, well laid-out room, comfortable bed with a nice, firm mattress. Big TV and reliable wi-fi (which didn't drop once during our stay). Clean, modern bathroom with excellent shower and a good hairdryer. Room cleaned and tidied, and water and toiletries restocked, each day (as long as you have gone out by around 11 am). Property owner was on site every day from 8:30 to 10:30 am but also available via Whatsapp if anything was needed, and was very quick to respond. Very friendly and helpful and speaks very good English (much better than my Italian!). The road the property is on can get a little busy sometimes, but you can't hear it with the windows shut. If you expect to have the windows open to let a little cool air in, it would be worth taking some ear plugs. There are some small local shops dotted around to pick up snacks and drinks for the room if needed (we used Frutta E Verdure Italbangla which was 4 minutes' walk away). We loved La Bella Modena and will (hopefully) stay again next time we visit Modena.
