This hotel is directly connected to the pedestal deck of Mito Station. I was attracted to the size and location of the room at Daiwa Roynet Hotel and used it. The size and cleanliness of the room are as expected. As for the facilities, it is not necessary to renew, but it felt a little old compared to other Daiwa Roynet hotels I recently used. The lower floors are equipped with commercial facilities, and breakfast is eaten at the izakaya on the first floor. It is adjacent to the elevator entrance, but you have to go out once and it is cold in winter. Considering the cold and bad weather, I think it would be good to go directly from the elevator hall. Also, since there is no bread for breakfast, it may be tough for Westerners in the morning. I wanted bread because it was simple like bread and butter rolls.

I stayed for two nights. The room was clean and comfortable. My room faced the Sakuragawa River, so the view was nice. If you go straight down the road in front of the hotel, you will reach Senba Park, and you can also walk to Sakasagawa Green Space, so it was a great place for a walk. However, I thought it was a little far from the station.

If I'm being selfish, it would be even better if the toilet paper was doubled. I wonder if that's a luxury.

The overall feeling of Japanese hotels is more expensive. This size of the room is only 50 yuan in China. It costs more than 500 yuan here, but the overall feeling is still very good. The location is within 5 minutes from Mito Station, but it is inconvenient if you have a carry because the last slope is steep. There are other hotels closer to the station than here. It seems that parking was free before, but now it is 500 yen per night. However, it is helpful to have a flat parking lot (without roof) with a wide 々 behind the hotel and free access as many times as you like (a style of giving a parking ticket to the front desk every time you enter the warehouse). The Kodokan of the sightseeing spot is just behind the scenes, and it is recommended because it can be seen in 1 ～ 2 hours of free time.

The standards of the hotel, in terms of design, cleanliness & comfort amazed me and wife. Service from car park, reception to restaurant was really commendable. Breakfasts were meticulously served with first morning in Japanese set and the second in Western. I don't know how old the hotel is but the working and upkeeping condition of the interiors and fittings is superbly impressive and puts many newly opened hotels I had stayed to shame. For the price we paid, this is a really an unusually spacious hotel (room & public areas). During our 8 nights of travelling from Tokyo - Kusatsu - Minakami - Tokyo, this hotel was the best and we will highly recommend to anyone who visits Mito.
