The service was great. The only two issues we had, one greater than the other was that a cigarette, a wrapper and a piece of lettuce were all found under/around the foot of the bed. Also, there were two stains on one comforter. The shower handle was also loose, with a small gap between the wall (forgivable, if the room was well-cleaned). Whether housekeeping did a 'quick' job or what, I'm not sure, but it was a little unsettling that some obvious items were missed during cleaning. Other than that, the place was lovely, shower pressure was good and space was nice.

The front desk staff was great! The heat was not working in my first room. I was transferred to another room which was not adequately cleaned. The front desk manager came to the room and cleaned it himself.

We attended a show at the Pabst Theater and booked this in part because of its proximity to the historic 3rd ward. We could not have been more pleased. Terrific across the board. Perfect location. Walking distance to nightlife. The accomodations were fabulous...but only if you love floor to very high ceiling windows! I will stay here again and again!

Nice hotel, love the old archetecture, only issues were finding the valet (and paying $39 for it), and a loud heating and cooling system

The courteous valet carried my luggage to the check-in area but I politely told by front desk staff that the valet could not take my luggage to the room because I was not paying for valet parking as I chose to park on the street directly in front of the hotel. That seems like an inconvenient policy .

Clean room; shower area could use a little more cleaning; very nice hotel interiors with old school charm. Not a lot to do in Milwaukee end of Dec - keep that in mind

Nice hotel with good front desk people. Room I was in didn't have a working tv and the WiFi wasn't amazing, but overall would stay again.
