I wanted to write a lauditory review for this little roadside motel because when I had just finished paying for the room my wife burst in with her phone open to tell me not to do the transaction. She showed me a condescending negative review which actually had nothing negative except the writers attitude. We arrived with no res just before the July 4th weekend. We tried to get a room at both the BW, where we had stayed before, and the Hampton, both of which were sold out. On recommendation, we came here. An advantage is that the motel is removed from the busy interchange with I-84 and other local traffic, so the stay was quite quiet except for when a family with little kids moved in with a frenzy to the room next door. It was a short-lived frenzy. The room was comfortable and cozy, the decoration more pleasing than the usual corporate fare in big-name hotels. It is very evident that the owners take good care of their property. Everything was in good working order and very neatly kept. While it's true that the motel looks like an old roadside stopover for travelling salesmen, that's probably because it is of that ilk and that era; but the people that run this old place do a superior job of caring for it. My compliments.
