Hotel Punto MX

The room and location of the hotel were great. The service could have been a lot better. Especially during breakfast, they seemed to prioritise Spanish speaking guests. We had to ask for food and water 3 times before we were served. It was somewhat frustrating...

Luis at the lobby was very attentive and helpful everyday. Raul at the restaurant did an excellent job and provided great service.

I have stayed at the hotel for a week. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They helped me to arrange a private driver for my two day-trips and airport drop off. The breakfast are Mexican food and have many options. The only thing I would suggest is that the bath towels too old and need to be replaced.

Had a great weekend trip to CDMX and wanted to stay close to Downtown, this hotel was a great answer! Staff was friendly and helpful, the place looked modern but classy - breakfast was awesome!! Can’t wait to come back!

Our stay was awful!!! DO NOT STAY in this hotel they charge you for things that are not provided or they will accused you for stealing either you pay or they will not return the cash deposit $1,000.00 pesos. This was very humiliating and extremely sad not only for my family, my persona and other guest staying at this hotel. The day we check out they had told us that a laundry bag was missing and that we needed to pay $150.00 pesos or they wouldn't return our deposit. We had explained that there was no laundry bag since we got there and why would we take something that does not belong to us. They had told my husband that they will go check the room. After they told us that they had found it with dirty clothes. While my husband was at the front counter I went to the room and no one was there. Someone went to meet me at the room and nothing was there. I came down and all of the sudden a lady "supervisor" came and said it was a mistake but we couldn't leave until they find the bag. I made it clear that we were not going to pay for something it was never there. In the afternoon when we pick up our luggage we notice that there was a Canadian couple been accused to steal a towel because employees couldn't find it. Then employees told the guest that they will call the "tourist police" if they continue to complain. THAT'S A TREAT! This is insane! how can these people get advantage of guest like this? The food is "ok", towels & sheets are old, stain, grayish, and frayed.

Very noisy during the night due to activity in the kitchen of the hotel, food smells during the night. No window that could be opened and air conditioning that was extremely loud, even in the lowest setting. Staff was very friendly and good breakfast

All the staff are friendly, hotel is clean and quiet. In a walkable distance to all the other places.

Staff were helpful but rooms are extremely noisy. Walls very thin, can hear everything in room next to you & when people use the shower / flush toilet above you

More keen to charge you for anything they can than anything else. Very hefty fines for overstaying. Also insist on housekeeping signing off the room before allowing you to check out or the return of a mandatory deposit to cover charges. My room (102) was right over the lobby and restaurant area, had no window and was very noisy. In the morning there was no hot water. Reception staff advised to let it run for ten minutes for it to go warm. It did, but how they can call themselves an eco hotel and then encourage such a huge waste of water is beyond me. The location is handy and the rates are cheap but I wouldn’t rush back.
