Opera Relais

We stayed at the property in room 3 as we were coming for work to Messina. The room had double layered windows to leave the noise out but the smell of bad perfume inside the room was so strong we had to leave it open, it was cold and noisy so we didn’t get much sleep. The worse part was that every time we used the toilet there was a haunting sound of pipes that would go on for hours, it was said to be a masserator and that we shouldn’t put TOILET PAPER down the loo which we didn’t but still the noise was so loud INSIDE the room all night long. The awful smell and the noise really don’t make this place worth. On top of that, the lack of higiene to have to dispose toilet paper in a small hard to open bin

We stayed 2 nights with breakfast. Nice room, nice style interior, , clean, new, with airco and nice bathroom. We slept very well and the breakfast was good. Good restaurants around and nearby the city center. Allot of privacy is guaranteed.

I had a few misunderstandings and miscommunication with the hotel but we dealt with those. Possibly it will surprise Rosy to hear I would stay there again!! But the position was great for me and my room was lovely. There are a couple of things I want to pass on to other prospective guests. The first thing...we think this was booking com fault that I didn't get full info re checking in....but the hotel has 2 locations one is at 85 and one at 113 and the reception is at 113. Quite important to know that! There is no safe in the room..maybe Opera Relais could consider providing them. The 3rd thing for me as I do try to be Green and am concerned about the environment is that my towels were changed after just one night. I was staying 3 nights and would have been perfectly happy to have the same towels for my whole stay. There wasn't a Do Not Disturb sign provided so my room was serviced but in this day and age most places now suggest that the guest request fresh towels if they want them otherwise the hotel will assume you are happy to use the same ones. Let's do our bit for the planet please and not do unnecessary washing!!!

Be careful! Don't accept being hosted in the room named "Turandot": it's located close to the kitchen and the reception/entrance. Very noisy. Impossible to rest. They noticed us that they'd change the room, and they never did it!! Three noisy and restless nights in July 2022.

Very nice B&B! Everything was as expected. Large rooms, clean and comfortable. We had great breakfast there. Also very courteous staff. The B&B is near to the center of Messina and also near to the railway station and to the harbour. So we can totally recommend to stay there!

«Ottima struttura al centro di Messina, Stanze pulite spaziose e ben arredate, staff disponibilissimo a qualsiasi richiesta. Colazione buona» Manca il parcheggio. Ci vuole un poco di fortuna per trovarlo nei pressi del B&B. Pernottato la notte del 27/12/2023

Complimenti a Sergio e alla sua collaboratrice Lina, antica struttura centralissima a pochi passi dal duomo, pulita, comoda, persone disponibili e cordiali, ci siamo trovate a casa nostra, colazione abbondante e di qualità e questo non era scontato. Ancora complimenti .

Un b&b eccezionale. Camere ampie e confortevoli, servizio colazione ottima e molto varia con granita e brioche diventa stellare e personale molto cordiale e disponibile. Struttura in centro. Da ritornarci sicuramente per le prossime vacanze, purtroppo passate molto in fretta.

Situato all'interno di un antico palazzo. Stanze nuovissime dotate di ogni confort. Ideale per chi cerca una struttura in centro a 2 passi dal porto e dal centro storico. Eccellente la pulizia soprattutto il. bagno. Colazione varia e completa. L'unico nota negativa che non c'è ascensore.
