We loved Hotel Zamna. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The pool areas was delightful place to relax after a hot day of sightseeing. We were glad to be on a quiet street, and did not mind the 12-15 minute walk to the plaza, as Merida is such a safe city for walking around, even at night.

Nice little hotel. Well located, about 1k from the center square. So close to the main sights but quiet. Rooms are not large, but enough space for you and your suitcase. The bathroom had a space to hang clothing and a storage cubby. The beds were on the firm side. TV with a good number of Spanish only channels. There was also a little alexa tablet that served as the clock As others have mentioned, the shower never got warm in my room no matter how long it ran. Though the sink did, so not sure what's up with that. Breakfast was included with one hot main choice a day, as well as fruit, yogurt, toast. Water coolers throughout to refill bottles. Also the kitchen was open 24-7 for tea and coffee. Nice pool and a non-hot tub, with provided towels. Honor snack and drinks.

The hotel is located in a serene and peaceful neighborhood, offering a comfortable and relaxing stay. Although it took us around 15 minutes to walk to the main square, the walk was quite pleasant, and our room was situated away from the road, ensuring a quiet and peaceful environment. Our room was well-furnished, but it was small in size. Although the water pressure of the shower head was low, and it was very difficult to regulate the water temperature, the room had a refrigerator, and a nice touch was that it also had an Alexa which allows us to play music of our choice. The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious and included fresh fruits and one hot item of the day. The outdoor dining area is beautifully landscaped and added to the overall relaxing ambiance of the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they assisted me in booking a day trip to nearby attractions. The staff communicated through text, which was a convenient way to stay in touch, and they provided complimentary drinking water, which was extremely helpful. The pool also had a vending machine for snacks and beverages for those who want something else to drink besides water.

We loved Hotel Zamna. They have a great breakfast to start the day off with fresh juice, fruits of the day and cooked entree and all day coffee bar. The rooms and facilities are beautiful and immaculate. The owners and staff are lovely and helpful. We had a wonderful visit.

The hotel is located on a quiet street yet all of central Merida is easily available by walking. The included breakfast is excellent with a changing daily extra in addition to always present fresh cut fruit, yogurt, granola, juice, breads, and coffee. Even a bean to cup Breville espresso machine. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Staff is definitely what puts this hotel above others I've stayed at in Merida. Common areas are beautiful, clean, and tranquil. Included breakfast is fresh, healthy, and delicious. Quickish walk to the center but in a quiet neighborhood. Small neighborhood park with good affordable market food available around the corner. Will definitely return to this hotel.

Super friendly, the staff is amazing. The hotel is clean, tranquil, and attractive with a nice pool. The breakfasts are healthy and delicious, coffee is available 24/7. The location is convenient, in a quiet neighborhood but a short walk to the main plaza and many restaurants. In the other direction is a small neighborhood park with low cost and tasty market food. I look forward to my next stay at Hotel Zamna.

Just spent eight days at the Zamna Boutique Hotel and it was truly a wonderful stay. This was our “home” while visiting all the sites in the Merida area. It’s an easy walk to many restaurants and the busy tourist areas surrounding Plaza Grande and Santa Lucia square. Rocio and her husband, Jose Juan, are the gracious owners and live on the property. Rocio was always nearby to answer numerous questions we posed. She made us feel so comfortable. This boutique hotel offers a unique stay because the owners are exceptionally warm and friendly. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean, large with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was always delicious with fresh fruits, eggs, tortillas, toasts and every day was something new and tasty! You also have all-day access to delicious fresh orange juice, tea, and lime/lemon slush, which we enjoyed sipping by the pool, con tequila, in the late afternoons. This hotel offers free shuttles to and from airport (15 mins. away) as well as on site antigen, PCR testing for travel, which we found so convenient. Highly recommended!
