This is a very good property. The room that we were allocated was huge. It had two king sized beds. The room was on the ground floor and opened to a lawn! The linen were clean and so were the bath towels. Since we had early morning safaris we had opted for packed breakfast and it was good. The egg sandwich and he chicken burger we ordered were also tasty! Staff is polite and helpful! Overall wonderful stay at this property and definitely recommended.

From the reservation to Restaurant and Chefs, Hazyview Sun has the best and delicious hospitality from dinner to breakfast, Rooms were in good condition very clean I can say it is one of the best hotels in Mpumalanga..The warm welcome exceeded our expectations.❤️❤️

This is by far the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. The rooms all have a damp old stink. They changed our room 3 times but still couldn't get a good fresh room. The walls have mould on them. The bathroom was not clean. The hotel room door requires a lot of force to close and lock. The room door also has visible damage. The bathroom door doesn't close. The Extractor unit in the bathroom sounds like a generator. The aircon sound from the next rooms were also very loud and disturbing. Breakfast was below average for when the tour groups were there. Once the tour groups left the service was non existent. Juice became imitation powder juice in jugs and live egg station was closed. This was a horrific stay for the the amount charged by this hotel. The mould and lack of cleanliness has made my husband and I sick.

I had bad experience with the rooms with carpet upon check in the room was stuffy ha to get room spray. The 2 nights spent there had bad sinus reaction because of the carpet. otherwise the hotel has beautiful views and food was good. I please improve in the rooms.

After checking in at reception ,we went to the room. Immediately we opened the room there was this unpleasant damp smell. We phoned reception to tell them and to request for another room.
We were told that the rooms are the same, all have carpets.
We checked out without sleeping or staying in the room.

The hotel was clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are outdated and need a revamp from carpets through to furniture and bathrooms. Pool and gardens are well kept. Be prepared to wait a while for pool towels as they were never available at reception the 3 times we needed them... Breakfast was not great but had the necessary components to get by. Coffee was dispensed in an urn and tasted stale at every breakfast seating. Chef during weekday duty overstuffed the omlet and did not take orders correctly...
Overall an average experience at a fair price.

This location is so idealistic as it was peaceful, colorful, spacious and welcoming. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and modern. Our dining experience is memorable with the most delicious serving that we repeated at each meal. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We are all revisiting 2024!

We didn’t stay here but came for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was really nice and professional ( not basic) - omlettes, lots of meats and main dishes less variety in other things ie fruit/breads/other sides. The coffee just like Sabie Sun, wasn’t very good (robusta not arabica?). The staff very friendly. There was an outside ok but not special view of nature. Nice Mixture of old and new construction.
