I stopped by for an early evening beer with friends. We had a lovely welcome from the staff, many of whom have been trained by Ukarimu Academy. I'm not sure if I would call this a "hotel" since the accommodation is in the form of fixed camping tents but service levels are good. Definitely one of Moroto’s best places to stay. A lot of attention is paid to the gardens (although there is far too much concrete or my taste).

I have just returned from a 4-night stay - lovely spacious rooms, great breakfast, super accommodating staff and lovely grounds. We had dinner at the hotel every night, pre-ordered in the morning - it was always ready at the time agreed, plenty of variety (to cater for vegetarians as well) and it was always prepared to a high standard. Candles were provided at night-time as dinner was enjoyed outside - my one suggestion would be to have better lighting as it gets very dark at night. The ramp down to the garden area can also be difficult to navigate in flip-flops/heels or if you have difficulty walking. Sadly, the viewing tower was not available during our stay - but I imagine the views to be spectacular! The power and water did go out on occasion - try to get your showers in before 6pm / after 6am (from my limited experience). Overall, an excellent stay.
