Ho soggiornato con mia moglie all’Hotel delle Cave il 30 aprile 2022 per una notte.
Bellissima struttura, decentrata ed immersa nel verde, con la parte che deve essere visitata di Matera facilmente raggiungibile anche a piedi in circa 30 minuti.
Il confort delle stanza decisamente ottimale con il personale attento e disponibile a qualsiasi richiesta degli ospiti.
Ciliegina su tutto la colazione abbondante, di ottima qualità e variegata.

Great hotel in Matera for those who don't mind driving everywhere. The hotel itself is excellent - the rooms are large and well-appointed, the breakfast is good, and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful (they provided very useful recommendations for both sightseeing and dining options). And there's ample parking on the property itself. For us, it was the perfect option.
But it's important to note that the hotel stands on a busy road without sidewalks. So, even though it's within a 15-minute walk from many restaurants and within 30 minutes from the Sassi, it's highly inadvisable to go by foot and you should plan on driving. On the plus side, we had no trouble finding parking near any of our destinations in town.

We booked this hotel at booking and when we arrived, hotel was closed. No one answered to calls and messages. We send 1 hour front of close hotel at the middle of the night! Worst ever experience Beware!!! Do not book this hotel if you do not want this problem

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel while we visited Matera. It is located about 5-10minutes by car from Matera.
The rooms were spacious and modern, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and well tasty.
With a pool this hotel would be absolutely perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

La facciata della struttura non è splendida e siamo entrati con un po’ di diffidenza ma, in realtà la struttura è molto carina, il giardinetto interno molto bello e curato, le camere non eccellenti ma belle e pulite e quello che ha fatto la differenza è stata la cortesia, disponibilità e la simpatia del personale

Ho alloggiato in questo bellissimo hotel dal 6 Aprile fino al 24 Aprile. Personale molto gentile, disponibile e sempre pronto a venire incontro alle esigenze dei clienti. Tutto lo staff, compreso quello relativo alle pulizie delle camere mi hanno fatto sentire come a casa. Struttura molto pulita e accogliente; colazione abbondante e ricca di prodotti locali freschi. Consiglio vivamente la struttura per visitare Matera e le zone limitrofe essendo posizionata molto vicino al centro e alla strada principale che prosegue verso Bari. Hotel molto adatto anche alle famiglie. Ringrazio caldamente tutto lo staff: Pietro, Innocenzo, Vincenzo, Alessia, Silvia e Cocetta.

Abbiamo apprezzato la comodità nel raggiungere destinazioni diverse da Matera, che comunque è talmente comoda che è come viverci: in 1 minuto si è in via Nazionale, porta al centro storico! Abbiamo gradito la spaziosità, luminosità e calore della stanza, il bagno impeccabile e le preziose bevande in camera, il tutto in una grande pulizia, merito delle 2 simpatiche signore con cui abbiamo stretto amicizia Dal personale della reception a quelli della colazione ci siamo sentiti accolti come in famiglia è venuto naturale passare da un rapporto tra estranei, ad uno tra amici Consiglio questa scelta a chi, oltre al viaggio, dà importanza anche al valore umano
