Tudo perfeito , localização, ambiente , só não gostei do banho , pois não tem chuveiro , apenas uma banheira. E também poderia ter mais luzes no banheiro .

We booked Casa di Lucio, a Matera favourite of mine, which is gorgeous both locationwise and for amazing Regia Corte breakfast, but as a bonus we were upgraded for free to their sister hotel, Sant’Angelo, which is even more utterly stunning. Our room (68) had such a breathtaking terrace view over Sassi Caveoso and the canyon, and the beautiful church of San Pietro Caveoso. At breakfast we were looked after wonderfully by such friendly and professional staff. Their names were Maristella and Antonio and we would like to thank them again for making our trip even more special. Recommend the French toast with Chantilly cream and fresh fruit at breakfast, it was heaven. Huge thank you to all.

Such a great place to stay. Staff were so friendly and kind. Michele who makes the breakfast is just the nicest guy and so helpful. On top of it the breakfast was amazingly good and made from local ingredients. You are litterly staying in cave so it can be a bit dark.

Wow not only was Matera a place to see in itself but our stay was made so much more elevated at this beautiful hotel ! The rooms were amazing and the staff from the minute we arrived made us feel so welcomed and they were all smiles ! Love every place they suggested to eat and all the sites to see! Would go back again most definitely!

Very nice and comfortable hotel which is located in the heart of Matera. Rooms was so clean and well designed but it was a bit cold because heating system was off. Breakfast was excellent and we should express special thanks to Michele who is the guy prepared breakfast and he was serving it.

Great hospitality and service from the hotel personnel and perfect location in the Sassi. Typical hotel in the cave houses. Big rooms . Great toiletries products. Strongly recommend also for price.

The staff was wonderful help us arrange a taxi to and from the bus station. Michele was the sweetest and made a wonderful breakfast each morning. The hotel is in a great part of town and close to many cafes and restaurants. Only wish the suite offered a shower and the ac was a little better but we really enjoyed our stay.

The atmosphere of the room, the cleanliness, the wonderful breakfast, the location, the attention to detail and communications were all wonderful but the best part were Michele and his daughter's hospitality. They were attentive and wonderful hosts. If you are going to Matera (and you should), you must stay here.

The locstion is excellent but you cannot access it by your car at it's a restricted area. The property is a real cave. The bath room is small. The breakfast is very good. 2 nights are more than enough.
