We are very happy after our amazing holiday. The location is beautiful with white sand and a nice beach. Management and the rest of the staff are lovely! Very cozy. Also, we liked everything what we ate in the restaurant

I had the best time in your hotel, from the time we arrived to the time we left and in a group of 22! The staff and management cannot do enough for you, the views are amazing and the food was just delicious. Would definitely return!!!!

Location: right next to the Matemwe beach. We loved having breakfast at the beautiful balcony of our King Suite, which overlooked the pool, the beach and the sea outside. Overall setting: meticulously designed with great taste. The room, poolside, restaurant and other facilities were all very well designed to create the perfect vibe for us to wind down and chill. Food: very delicious, which was so important because we were eating all our meals in the restaurant throughout the 4-night stay. The food and cocktail were amazing, definitely on par with the best high-end hotel restaurants we tried in Stone Town. And we felt so assured trying out all their cocktails and cold drinks after seeing them make ice with bottled water! Staff: the people here were the jewel of the crown. We expected the service to be good, but never thought it would be this good... The staff were not only very nice and attentive to our needs, they were extremely friendly, in the most literal sense! You can see that they sincerely enjoy chatting with you, getting to know you and sharing with you their language and culture if you're interested. They seemed truly happy on their job, which made us feel like they were a bunch of friends around taking care of us and having fun together with us. On the last day of our stay, we felt so bad having to leave these friends and this charming tropical paradise... We will always remember the warm, sincere and friendly smiles of Hugo, Juma Combo and Halima. Thank you so much for giving us such wonderful memories on our honeymoon. Asante sana. Tutaonana!

What a great experience all around !! This trip took a whole year of planning for a group of 22 people. From the beginning the staff went above a beyond with excellent communications and the various demands from a large group !! When we arrived we were greeted by the loveliest staff and my birthday celebration was filled with several surprises and performances planned by the hotel. I cannot thank you enough for all the support and memories we created on this trip. We have all made a promise to visit again because we really were treated like family. Thank you to all the staff for all their hard work and management you were absolutely excellent ☺️. Also the food was absolutely amazing !!!

Marafiki Beach Hotel & SPA is quite honestly the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed at (and the best). Our room had a stunning view of the crystal blue sea and white sandy beach. All of the staff from Hameez, the two Jummah’s, Happiness (who gives the best massages) and the rest of the Marafiki Beach Hotel & SPA team were attentive and personable (their service really made the whole experience so much better). The restaurant was fantastic and had a perfect range of dishes ranging from Steak (my husband’s favourite who was amazed by the quality of beef), Fish and Vegetarian / Vegan options. The location of the hotel is also perfect and is close to nearby islands. Matemwe is truly magical and so is Marafiki Beach Hotel & SPA. It will always be our go to residence whenever we are in Matemwe (hopefully for many more years to come). Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au Marafiki. Personnel accueillant et souriant. Très joli bungalow avec beaucoup d'espace et une belle terrasse. Très grande plage pour se ballader. Repas et pdj très bon et copieux. Nous avons le bar sur la plage pour se relaxer en regardant la mer. Possibilité de se promener aux alentours dans le village.

Zimmer am Strand waren wunderschön. Frühstück und Essen war gut, aber nicht sooooo super, wie wir es in anderen Bewertungen gelesen haben. Die Massage war sehr gut! Hotel bietet Strandschuhe, die bei Ebbe absolut zu empfehlen sind. Am ersten Tag ist ein Kind in einen Seeigel getreten, ein anderes auf einen toten Kugekfisch. Personal total hilfsbereit, hat 5 Stacheln raus ‚operiert‘. Alle wirklich freundlich von Rezeption, bar, Zimmermädchen.

Das war unser zweiter Aufenthalt im Marafiki Beach Hotel. Wir lieben den Ort, seine gepflegte Umgebung, den tollen Swimmingpool und die schönen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmer - und das außergewöhnliche Essen und die Getränke. Und die neue stilvolle Strandbar! Das Rezeptionsteam, insbesondere Katarzyna, hat einen guten Überblick über das Geschehen, ist effizient und freundlich. Im Restaurant gefällt uns der Service und die persönliche und einladende Atmosphäre und die tollen Mitarbeiter:innen wie Hugo, Ali, Hamid, Helena... und mehr. Happiness und ihre Kollegin machen das Massageerlebnis zu etwas Besonderem! Wir kommen wieder :-)
