We stayed here on a two-night "gourmet arrangement" to celebrate a special birthday. Our previous visit, on the "Romantik Pur" package, was just before the first pandemic lockdown and we had enjoyed that so much we had been waiting to return. This second visit certainly did not disappoint. The hotel is welcoming, comfortable and clean and in an excellent location. The staff is very friendly. The meals we had were outstandingly presented and delicious. The chef deserves special commendation. Thanks also to our waiter, Johannes, for his explanations of every course and wine recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and very much look forward to a return visit. Highly recommended.

The views were beautiful. I love the the monestery is right next door and there are trails right behind.
Excellent quiet place to stay.
Dinner and breakfast were amazing.
Staff was very helpful and friendly.

We booked a double room. The hotel did not let us know there was a wedding, Which kept us awake for half of the night. In the middle of the forest you would expect some peace and quiet. Will never go again. Very unprofessional towards us as guests.

Wir waren als Paar während den Steakwochen im Restaurant. Wir hatten für den Abend reserviert und wurden freundlich empfangen und zu Tisch geführt . Das Ambiente im hinteren Raum auch sehr schön und gemütlich . Der Service und das Essen hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir hatten einen gelungenen Abend. Gerne wieder.

Wir waren zum Valentinstag dort, hatten ein sehr angenehmes Essen mit einem tollen, aufmerksamen Service. Die Liebe steckt im Detail und wer Freude an Details hat , ist im König von Preußen gut aufgehoben. Kleines Extra Highlight: Der Cocktail ! Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Nach einem sehr gelungenen Menü bestellten wir zum Abschluss Espresso. Der einfache abgepackte Keks als letzter Eindruck des Essens , wird dem Abend nicht gerecht.

Schön gelegen, sehr gemütliches und gepflegtes Gasthaus, aufmerksames und sehr nettes Personal, schnelle Bedienung und es schmeckt sehr gut. Preislich gehoben aber absolut in Ordnung. Die Zimmer haben wir noch nicht angeschaut aber von den Fotos her sehen sie außergewöhnlich gepflegt und gemütlich aus.

Wie schon mehrfach gesagt - meine Bewertung kann mit 5 Punkten nicht besser werden. 10 von 10! Sehr netter Service, tolle Location und die Qualität der Speisen spricht für sich! Vorweg der Gruß aus der Küche und da mein Mann sich das Menü bestellt hatte teilten wir uns die beiden Vorspeisen. Er hatte die Burrata und ich die Bärlauchcremesuppe. Beides geschmacklich perfekt! Danach gab es für Männeken Heilbutt auf Kichererbsen und für mich das Black Angus Rumpsteak Medium und auf den Punkt! Es war grandios! Das Süsse danach durfte nicht fehlen- Kompliment an die Küche und das ganze Team! Wir kommen auch nach 32 Jahren immer wieder gerne!
