Cerviola Hotel

Very helpful staff. Breakfast was ok. Τhe room was not very spacious. However the bathroom was very spacious and we were also provided coffee capsules and a bottle of water for free, as a welcome. Generally good experience!

Great hotel

Precioso hotel que tiene todo lo necesario para que tu estancia sea fantástica. Tiene una piscina y restaurante en la última planta con vistas al mar. Comida muy rica. El desayuno del hotel es muy completo y está muy rico. Volvería más veces a este hotel.

We live on Gozo and have used this hotel twice in the past but since which time it has undergone remodeling and updating. Unfortunately shortly after arriving my wife tripped and fell in the street outside the hotel. I managed to get her back to the lobby where the receptionists provided ice packs for the bruising she'd suffered. They were kind and caring beyond expectations. The hotel is exceptionally clean, the room was quiet but the bathroom a little on the small side for our liking. Air con was great and quiet and the TV program lineup much better than many competitor hotels. The rooftop terrace / bar / restaurant was great for relaxing and enjoying good food and drinks at really competitive prices. Buses to and from the airport stop outside the door. There are also buses at about 12 minute intervals to the Marsaskala bus terminus. But it is also within comfortable walking distance. Marsaskala is a nice town, it has a good promanade walk from the harbor to the historic Saint Thomas tower and ruins of the once renowned Jerma Hotel

We have stayed at this hotel before and always find it very clean and pleasant. sometimes when things go wrong they are not put right immediately as was the case this time there was a problem and it was not remedied. Rooms have a coffee maker and coffee is provided everyday. The breakfast is such good value for money, proper bacon proper sausages. This time our towels were quite tatty and maybe this was just an oversight. We would definitely return again. The bus stop is right outside and it is a 10-minute walk to the beach.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived, especially the front desk staff. The room was also very clean. The location was convenient, with easy access to local transportation. One minor issue worth noting is that there was some noticeable noise from the hotel renovation. However, the renovation was almost done on my last day. Moreover, it did not overshadow the positive aspects of my experience at the hotel. Overall, I found the hotel to be a delightful place to unwind, and I would recommend it to others seeking a convenient and hospitable accommodation option.

I was informed of the improvements to the balconies at the hotel,before our trip by the hotel ,which was very much appreciated,we were put into the apartment block opposite,the apartment was excellent,lovely balcony,across from hotel ,had everything for a relaxing break,the staff and breakfast at the hotel were fantastic,and looked having chilled drink at the bar ,before venturing out for tea,I am looking forward to returning,and I will ,and the improvements that were ongoing whilst me and my partner were there ,will only enhance a lovely hotel,with great staff and relaxed atmosphere,you can see there’s pride in how the hotel looks ,it’s a credit to all involved .

I stayed in one of the cerviola apartments. Which was clean and spacious. With a nice sea view.

Terrible and traumatic stay at Cerviola Hotel in Marsaskala, dirty mouldy hotel, infested with bugs, beds not clean or changed, pillows moved to other side with sweat, blood and other dirt. Rooms leaking with water on the wall, floor and fridge, serious health and safety life risk, but when reported the owner laughs at you, then shouts and insults you. When second room received, someone already been there, after third key given, we had to clean the whole room as no housekeeping, given key to the laundry room. When we wanted to move to another hotel and requested the money back on the first day when a flooded room 111 given, the manager refused, and said you can go with no money. On third day the receptionist demanded more money and did not give us the room key when we returned from a trip, were kept waiting for an hour until they spoke to the organiser of the group, still no apology even the hotel made a mistake. Refused the VAT invoice at departure from the hotel, they gave us some point out with part of the money paid. Please avoid at any cost, this is not a hotel, with this abuse not even a hostel.
