We recently stayed five nights at Riad Azrur, four before going on a three day two night Sahara tour and one upon our return. Everything at the Riad was super, excellent breakfast, the common areas are great, the room spacious and clean with bedding and towels you would expect in a five star hotel. The personal service provided by Ibrahim, the host, certainly exceeded our expectations. He provided assistance in helping navigate the souks which can be quite difficult at first, arranged our memorable trip to the Sahara and was always there to assist. If it is your first trip to this area of Marrakech when you start walking the 5 minutes from the taxi to the Riad down a dimly lit very narrow lane with high walls either side will leave you wondering, where am I headed, but once you enter the Riad you concerns will be quickly put to rest. As a well seasoned traveler, for anyone visiting the old part of Marrakech I would highly recommend staying a the Riad Azrur. Ibrahim will certainly help make you stay enjoyable.

Came back to room and noticed my new razor was missing. Challenged manager about this and he said he would find out from cleaning staff. He then went into the bin and pulled out razor which was broken and had been used (brand new razor in box) has shown no responsibility for it or refunded me in anyway or responded to emails complaining!! Don’t go if you want your stuff to be stolen and broken!!

Riad Azrur is an excellent choice to stay in Marrakech. Ibrahim's special attention to every detail, question, need, is extra ordinary. The Riad is small with only 5 rooms and is basic, yet it has everything that you need for lovely stay.

It was a great Riad, very modern, incredibly clean and the host (Ibrahim) went above and beyond. I strongly suggest this Riad for your stay in Marrakech. Also it is very walkable to most tourist areas, the most would be a 15/20min walk typically. Overall really enjoyed this & would love to rebook here if I do visit Marrakech in the future!

A really beautiful place to stay. I had a room on the ground floor right next to the courtyard. Even so, it was quiet during the time that I was sleeping. I stayed during the month of November. The host was very kind with giving tips on how to maneuver the streets and the people that I might run into and even lent me a phone charger a few times because my phone was acting up. Very clean and very comfortable. I had initially booked another place and it was very spartan and utilitarian, so I was happy to come to this location where there was some luxury. The bedding was super nice and the bathtub was a bonus.

The best thing we did in Marrakesh was to choose Riad Azrur!I would say it’s the best location to travel to the medina, get picked up for all your trips, get a taxi, buy food from local food stalls, go for dinners. We met Ebrahim at the Riad, whom I had connected with before coming to plan my husbands birthday. He was so so helpful that I have no words to thank him. We were in the middle of the Atlas trek and I ran out of data- one message to him and it was done. Everything was just literally a message away with Ebrahim. There’s a very sweet lady who cleans etc at the Riad too. From serving us delicious fresh breakfast, to finding us cabs, to helping us sort train tickets out- Ebrahim was so kind and helpful. Would highly recommend Riad Azrur to everyone who’s visiting Marrakech. It’s a very comfortable, quiet Riad to stay in.
