We stayed five nights, from 4th April 2024 at the Altair Riad, Marrakech, ideally located in the Medin, yet in a quiet zone just a short walk to the Souk or main square. A haven of peace in a town where all the senses are stretched. Everything was done to give us the best service, breakfast was fresh juices, fruit, pastries, evening meal of filo wrapped fish excellent and the recommended Hamman great. Fully recommended.

We stayed here for a few days during our trip to Marrakesh. The room was nice and clean with comfortable beds. The ambiance and surroundings are peaceful and relaxed. Along with this was a fantastic service from the Manager and his entire team. The staff member upon arrival was helpful with knowledgeable advice about the local sights to see. The catering and housekeeping staff were always friendly. We enjoyed a lovely dinner here and the daily breakfast was good with a great selection of items. A lovely place to return to after a long day sightseeing and shopping. A hidden Gem.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Riad Altair. The staff are so wonderful and welcoming, and the food delicious, cooked to perfection. The room was very comfortable, and the roof top terrace was stunning. Views of the snow capped Atlas Mountains , breathtaking. Just a beautiful establishment, run by wonderful staff . Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nice riad with excellent team of staff. From our arrival and until we left they have treated us wonderfully. Upon arrival they offered us welcome tea, our room was comfortable with a nice bathroom, in the mornings full breakfasts that varied every day in some detail such as crepes and etc. The dinners are highly recommended since the cook Saida (or Samira, sorry if I confuse you) prepares them exquisitely and according to typical Moroccan recipes. On one of the nights of our stay at the riad my son became ill with a cold and woke up at 03:00 in the morning feeling unwell. Yassine was kind enough to make him tea and give him the medicine he had for flu cases. and colds. The next day my son was perfect. And at all times during our stay we have never lacked Abdou's excellent and discreet attention with his recommendations and advice. I especially have to thank you for organizing the excursions, which have been wonderful and unforgettable. Abdou, Yassine, Saida, Rachid, Samira and the rest of the staff, thank you very much for everything, you have made us feel comfortable and safe and that every time we returned to the riad from our walks and excursions it was like coming home to the family. What a pleasure to meet people like you.

A hidden oasis in a very busy city. Such a relaxing environment after a busy day in the souks. The staff were so friendly and made our stay perfect. Would highly recommend Riad Altair if you want to experience authentic Marrakech as opposed to the resorts on the outskirts of the city.

We arrived at this beautiful Riad quite late in the evening after a long day of airports. We were welcomed by friendly staff who had mint tea prepared for us and some little biscuits. He went through details about the Riad, gave us a map of Marrakech and circled places of interest and gave us tips on how to deal with some of the over zealous sellers. Our room which was at the top of the Riad was amazing, the bed was the most comfortable bed outside of my own. The Riad was so peaceful despite being in the middle of the Medina. It is placed near a Mosque and the call to prayer can be heard from the Riad but it is amazing to hear this. We also ate in the Riad a couple of nights and the food was outstanding. Three courses and freshly cooked that day. The staff were always on hand for anything we wanted and were also able to organise trips out for us. We went on a tour into the Atlas Mountains with a driver who was absolutely lovely. We would happily return to Riad Altair it was a real pleasure to stay there.

Lovely hotel, with 6 rooms that we booked via TUI. It served some lovely dinners which was a bonus when we arrived (late ish). We were looked after very well. Restful, in the heart of Medina, well kept and very warm welcome. They will be very happy to organise tours at reasonable price and it’s worth calling in advance. Their web site is a little misleading, well-being massages etc are provided by an organisation nearby, not themselves, and advance booking is necessary. No swimming pool, just a display pool in the main court serving as lounge and dinning room :) very nice.

We spent five nights at Riad Altair which allows you to more authentic Morroccan experience rather than staying in a generic hotel outside of the medina wh8ch may have more facilities. The staff and manager Abdou and Yassin were so friendly and helpful. The riad is in the medina and just a short easy walk to Jemaa el Fna. The room was comfortable and the roof terrace was delightful. Abdou was always around if you had any queries and Yassin was a breath of fresh air !!!. We eat two nights at the riad. It is a set menu and is good home cooked food, wine and beer is available at a reasonable price. We had a couple of sundowners on the roof terrace.
